I am not one to write reviews, but I had to about this place. We went on a Saturday night and it was dead. They don’t do hibachi any longer but still sit you around hibachi tables..?… They definitely don’t clean the hibachi tables anymore either… there was a film / haze on them and some looked rusty. The atmosphere was dark and dingy. A lot of the employees huddled around a TV to watch “Back to the Future” – riveting. An employees child was playing on a knee scooter in the bar (the type of scooter you get after having foot or leg surgery) – a definite safety concern and definitely a code violation. The bathrooms were disgusting, several stalls out of order and according to the employees kid “have been that way for 5 years or more”.

The restaurant was clean and calm. Service was pretty decent. The all you can eat sushi is a MUST! I ordered the mango avocado roll, deep fried chicken sushi, and the sushi special with crab , along with appetizers. It was delicious for the price of 25.99 for all you can eat sushi plus more. If you are hungry and craving real authentic sushi made right in front of your eyes, this is the place to go.

Food was decent. Definitely have had better authentic sushi in the area. Service was decent. Was not greeted when I walked in nor was I acknowledged while leaving. There was a disabled person in the restaurant with obvious signs of disability, and I saw the staff continuously stare at the patron and they would laugh. I was disappointed to notice this but glad I got to see the true colors of the toko staff. I probably won’t return. Our server tonight was great though – she was kind, friendly. She was very busy but we appreciated her attentiveness.

All you can eat sushi. Good food but the ordering is confusing. They make you recycle the same menu without clear instructions on how to indicate old vs new markings. The confusion caused us to end up with a ton more than we wanted because the second order ended up being a duplicate of everything on the first. There is a wasted food upcharge but they didn’t enforce it due to the mix-up and instead provided a box for three leftovers. If they gave you a new menu each time it would be 5 stars.

They stopped the Hibachi grill, but you can still get the Hibachi meal on the menu thru the kitchen. The food is still excellent and they give you a large portion! Always recommended.

Love Toko! Great food always good service and atmosphere is good! I wish they would bring back the live cooking grills though! They currently do not offer that, but the food is great! I have not had their sushi so I cannot speak on that but their hibachi, miso soup, salad, rice and yum-yum are all delish! When ordering take out, it’s still just a fresh! A must order is the spring rolls as well!! The chili sauce is great!

The service is not so great, nowledge of food and their menu was poor. They did not even know what msg was and when asked the cook they said they dont think so but cant promise if they use msg, later visit a new employee was able to tell me yes they use msg in their food. The atmosphere was very smoky like thick air, a little hole in the wall place with bad decor.

We went back here after a few months hiatus due to the terrible service and the sushi had gone downhill. To our pleasant surprise the sushi was excellent and the service was also. They have hired some new staff and it seems to have made a huge difference.
