When you go out of your way to create the world’s tastiest sandwiches, people tend to go out of their way to get their hands on them. And it’s been like this since we opened the doors of the first TOGO’S in San Jose, California back in 1971. We made the meatiest, most delectable sandwiches around. And people formed lines out the door, anxiously awaiting their turn for taste bud nirvana. Today, people still go above and beyond to get our sandwiches. Because for many, you can never go too far for a TOGO.

the dining area really needs attention. The space feels worn and neglected, especially if you’re sitting inside. The ceiling vents are visibly dirty, some ceiling tiles don’t match, and the lighting feels uneven and harsh in spots.
The walls and wood trim look like they haven’t been deep-cleaned in a long time — dust and grime are noticeable in the grooves, which makes the place feel less inviting. Chairs and tables are scuffed and don’t feel well maintained, and the entrance area looks cluttered with cleaning signs and mats instead of being welcoming.
Nothing was “gross,” but overall it just feels tired and unpolished, which makes it hard to relax and enjoy your meal. For a place that clearly gets a lot of traffic, the dining room should feel cleaner and more cared for.
Probably fine for takeout, but I wouldn’t choose to sit and eat here again unless the interior gets some attention.

My daughter and I came here for the turkey and cranberry sandwich and it was delicious. The store was clean and smelled nice. There was a little wait because other people were there in line but the wait wasn’t long.

It took 10 minutes to make 1 sandwich. It was toasted but cold. The soup was hot enough for a lawsuit. We’ve been sitting down eating for 5 minutes and it’s still steam coming from the soup. The order was messed up multiple times. The guy appeared to be new (bless him), but the worker Kim thought that filling mayo containers and dumping trash was more important than assisting us. As we were sitting down attempting to enjoy our meal, another customer came in and Kim ran to fix his meal in less than 2 minutes flat. Another set of customers came in and Kim felt it was more important to stock the chips. At this point it’s giving racist vibes. The 2 set of customers she couldn’t help were black. The other customer was not. Definitely won’t be returning

The food is decent, but cost is wild for what it is – $11 for a regular sub with no chips, etc is much.
The soda dispenser is TERRIBLE. Their mixes are all off and everything is way less sweet than it should be. I tasted the Coke, cherry Coke (which should be even SWEETER due to the grenadine, but somehow it tasted just as bad!!), and Fanta – all bad. This is one of the absolute worst remix machines I’ve ever experienced and I didn’t want the drink I already paid for in advance, because for what?
Owners – PLEASE fix the soda mixes, it’s just plain AWFUL.
