We were the only customer and the owner was very accommodating. Area is small but clean. We ordered spicy beef bulgogi and the mister finished his. I had a kimchi soup which was a bit salty for my taste. However, it is hot and nice with rice.
They served extra rice and side dishes as seen in the pictures.

헌글 맛 My Husband is half Korean and after a recent trip to Seoul where I left a piece of my heart with his family I often get sad. Thank God for this place in Fairbanks! Our family of six absolutely adores this place. Food is legit! The spicy wings, gimbop, tteokbokki, and every other dish is seriously just like Seoul food! This wards off some my sadness and longing for Seoul. Food and service is always fabulous.

Update 6/26/2023
We’ve tried to eat here a few times over the last couple months and each time they have been closed during their “Open hours”. My favorite Korean food but difficult to get here when open.

This has been our go to spot for Korean food. We ordered Jung’s Bulgogi Combo (beef, chicken, pork), Bibimbap, Teriyaki Beef Bulgogi, Beef Broccoli Stir Fry, Pan Fried Dumplings, Teriyaki Chicken, Chicken Yakisoba, Chicken Fried Rice, everything turned out really good. You get generous portions of meat here. Will be back here again for sure, thank you.

I’ve been to multiple Korean restaurants in this area and Jung’s is simply amazing! Their quality and cleanliness is what makes them stand out. Side dishes are always fresh and plentiful, main dishes are authentic and taste just like home. Hands down, this is the best Korean restaurant in Fairbanks.

We had the dumplings and chicken bulgogi, which were both delicious and easily enough to fill two happy tummies!

Food is always so fresh and delicious, the land lady is also so kind. Everything off the menu is great, but the Tuna Kimbap and ice plum tea is the best

We went 3times when we were in Fairbanks. Their tofu stew is the best that I have never had ! Even better than Korean town in NY.
They are pretty busy but their food won’t disappoint you.
I both dine in and take out, they even packed me a box of side dishes for my togo order, I was very satisfied with that.

Well that was one of the biggest food disappointments in my 43 years of life. After reading reviews and looking at photos I had great expectations for a Korean experience. Or at least as much as you could expect from Fairbanks. The beef bulgogi was more than half fat. The sauce was lack luster, we had to ask for more than one bowl of rice. The sides as good as they look was actually fake kimchi, vinegar and chilis on lettuce, cucumbers and cabbage had oil and water only. No fermentation at all. The ramen tasted like the $.50 rectangle ramen packets that you eat in college before you discover flavor.
From end to end this meal was nothing like I expected, I should have learned my lesson when I showed up last week two hours before closing and they said they were closed because they were out of rice.
Asking about the sides, I was told they don’t make them because it’s too expensive and too much work. You are charging $18 for a bowl of fifty cents ramen and an egg with a few slices of onion. $60 out the door.
Togo Korean, you come, you go, and you never return. The menu does not match what’s online and the staff doesn’t want to be there. Stay away and save your money. Better yet go to Safeway and buy packaged Korean food/sauces. You will enjoy it allot more for a fraction of the price.
