I absolutely had a pleasure eating at tofu village. I ordered the beef soup. My wife order the seafood combo, and we finish everything. The broth was rich full of flavor I can’t wait to come back here again when it starts getting colder as it would be the meal that puts me to sleep. The reason why I’ll come back is because the service was superb on top of the food tasting so good.

The service is fast the Bibimbap without meat-bulgogi is yummy! The lady server is so quick and knows how to get down without anyone just her! That’s difficult but she does it! The Banchan was yummy all the way around. No complaints here!! Pleasant spot to eat and good music!!

I shared tofu seafood pancake and galbi combo with my friend. All the dishes were so delicious! I ordered a fish dish and it was the best fried fish I’ve tasted, so crispy and fresh. The tofu soup was good as well. I loved the kind and friendly service.

Everything here was DELICIOUS. I ordered the seafood sundubu with fried mackerel and my boyfriend ordered dumpling sundubu and barbecue chicken and not a single thing disappointed. Even every single banchan dish was my favorite! The cucumbers, and glass noodles, and potato especially the rice is the good kind- and purple, and you can get hot tea for free instead of water. The mackerel was buttery and melted in your mouth. The sundunbu came with an egg and plenty of both dumplings and seafood pieces. I will most definitely be coming back and I highly recommend to anyone trying to find a generous, worth your money, homey Korean restaurant. A new favorite.

Man, this is absolutely a phenomenal restaurant. I’m running behind for work, but this place is so amazing that I’m taking time to write this review. If you look at my picture, I got all this for less than $20 for lunch. So many side dishes and the main dish was delicious! You have to come try this place if you want great food with awesome service. Thank you so much to everyone here. Wow!!!

Friendly staff but the food is more like quick home-cooked style which doesn’t quite satisfy the palate. Soft tofu soup is heavy on the fish sauce vs. a rich broth and side dishes don’t seem quite as fresh.

The food here is exceptional. We loved everything we ordered. Good service. The galbi is cooked and seasoned well. Soon tofu soup can be ordered from not spicy to spicy. Everything comes out hot and sizzling. The fried fish was hot and fresh. Overall great experience and food.

The whole complex that this restaurant is in looked unpromising. It felt run down to me, but boy was I surprised. I have written a review about Tofuya but this place is actually next level! I would say that this place is second only to BCD Tofu House!
I actually enjoyed every single dish I ordered: Grilled flatfish, Soon Beef Tofu, and dumplings. Every single dish’s portion was very generous but I would say the Tofu in particular was the bomb! So let me start with that. By the way, DO NOT TOUCH the pot, if you need to bring it closer to you, please use a napkin. This pot is no joke, I hurt myself a little because I was too excited to dig in. When you choose to have eggs in your tofu, the server would put the egg in for you (clean hands! yay) ! Anyways, the soup feels light but still very tasty and they don’t put sugar in any of their dishes (cheers to that). The meat was delicious and the tofu had perfect texture! Now, the grilled flatfish reminds me a lot of BCD Tofu’s fish. They are both equally good but since we actually pay for the flatfish, the fishes are way bigger than the ones served in BCD. In terms of taste, Tofu Village’s fish was less salty but I still enjoyed it very much! Dumplings? I didn’t think it was anything special. It was delicious but I wouldn’t order it again.
Right, let’s talk about the place then. The restaurant is pretty cozy and clean. I have a strong feeling that the waitress here is also the chef and owner of the store. The lady was nice and respectful but doesn’t speak English that well. So speak slower if you won’t be ordering your food in Korean.
Overall, I would recommend this place, but maybe if you are not a huge fan of dumplings, then skip it. I would be coming back again though, that Tofu was a mood booster!
