I don’t come to this area that often, but the food here totally surprised me.
The Seafood Tofu Soup and Seafood & Beef Tofu Soup were both super flavorful without being too salty, and the Galbi was tender with that sweet-charred taste that makes it perfect with rice.
The rice itself was great too — soft, chewy, and served in a little pressure cooker.
Overall just simple, cozy Korean comfort food. I’d come back for sure.

Food is fresh and delicious. Prices are average for the typical Korean food in LA/outer LA area. Side dishes are tasty and always refillable. Definitely my favorite place to grab a tofu soup and dolsot bibimbap.

The food is fine — nothing to complain about, and if you enjoy Korean cuisine, this is a decent spot. However, the service really took away from the experience. I usually don’t care much about service, but this was bad enough to affect the meal.
1. Our server didn’t speak English very well but seemed very impatient during communication, almost as if blaming us for not speaking her language.
2. There were three of us, but we ordered portions for two to share because we wanted a light dinner. The server appeared unhappy about it and only brought two plates. When we asked for a third, she looked surprised and annoyed.
3. We avoided asking for refills on the small dishes because her attitude made us uncomfortable.
4. When serving food, she expected us to clear the table immediately and said “excuse me” sharply when we didn’t react fast enough.
5. We noticed she was friendly and talkative with Korean customers, joking and thanking them warmly, but offered none of that to us.

At one point, we were literally trying to get another server’s attention without letting ours notice — just to avoid interacting with her.
We still left an 18% tip, because that’s not how we express dissatisfaction, but the experience was deeply disappointing. It’s hard to understand how she can be racist toward other Asians while not having working English in the U.S. — truly astonishing.

Last time we tried to come here, it was too close to closing time and did not make it. This time I got here earlier. This place did not disappoint! I was craving some Korean tofu soup and Galbi, and this place was just what I was looking for. Sometimes I want good quality Korean food and not an ayce type of place. I got their combo deal with Dolsot Bimbimbap and Seafood Tofu soup. I also ordered a Galbi entree on the side. The food came out pretty quickly. The Banchan were fresh and well pickled. Everything was so amazing! I love how everything came out sizzling hot. The seafood tofu soup was very tasty and well flavored. It was perfect for a cold night. I love the presentation of the Dolsot Bimbimbap. It’s a good dish to share because it’s huge! I love all the mixed vegetables that’s in it. A good dollop of gochujang sauce really bring out another layer of flavor. The Galbi was my favorite. It came out perfectly the way I like it, hot and juicy! The meat is well marinated and not too sweet. Each bit was so satisfying. I’m really glad I came. Also, all the servers were really friendly. This place feels very homey and relax. The menu price is fair for the quality of food you get. There’s also plenty of parking in the plaza. I am down to come back with my friends again.

One of the best tofu house in Rowland, been craving some tofu soup but not in ktown, this place is the spot for any tofu soup and Korean cuisine related dishes. The bibimbap is also crazy good with a great mix. The fish is not too fried and very on the spot with great taste. Tofu house has always been a staple in my childhood and I was not disappointed. Tofu soup is a must order in a tofu house!

This may be my new go to place for tofu soup and Galbi/bbq

Driven passed here so many times and finally decided to try it for an early dinner one nights. This place did not disappoint.

Loved the combos they offered and that the tofu soup is a regular size portion in these combos.

We got the Galbi and beef tofu (spicy) combo and it was delicious. The Galbi is sweet, juicy and you can tell it had been marinated a while as it was full of flavor.

Tofu soup was delicious as well. Good amount of spicy, fair portions of beef inside and full of flavor. One of the few places I finished all of it without having to take it home.

We also tried the bulgogi which also had a lot of flavor. I’m not usually a bulgogi fan, but this was good.

Side dishes were good, nothing that stands out but it’s not a negative as all of them are perfect compliments to the main courses.

Service was excellent, a few times, we didn’t even have to ask for more sides as they waitresses brought more over for us.

Next time I want to try their spicy pork or spicy chicken.

I just wish they were in a plaza with better parking, as it can be difficult at busy hours but that’s the norm in that area

Call ahead and they offered outside dining. Great experience with wonderful food. The staff is very friendly and walked us through their very tasty menu. Food came out quick and was very delicious. We have eaten at several Korean restaurants before and this one is too notch. We will definitely be coming back for more. The sides dishes were so good and the prices extremely fair for the amount of food we got. Make sure to give this place a try!!

Tofu Bean stands out as the best Korean restaurant I’ve experienced in Southern California. The cuisine, especially the kalbi short ribs and tofu soup, is delicious—I recommend trying the tofu mushroom soup. What sets Tofu Bean apart is their exceptional customer service, they make everyone feel special. As a Hispanic, I’ve encountered less than ideal service in other Korean places, but at Tofu Bean, I felt treated like royalty. I highly recommend this place.

Best Korean Tofu Soup (sundubu-jjigae) in SGV!

Tofu Bean is my go-to whenever I’m craving good comfort Korean food! My husband and I usually get the tofu soup combos with galbi. I always get the seafood tofu soup and it comes loaded with shrimp, oysters, and clam! Everything is so delicious here! All the entrees come with the traditional banchan and it’s always freshly made! You know a Korean restaurant is good when their banchan is on point!

As a Kpop fan I also love how they play Kpop and kdramas on the tvs! They even have RM’s autograph displayed in the front of the restaurant as you walk in! Being Army I can’t help but fangirl over it whenever I visit!

Like a soup kitchen. I didn’t use the bathroom but everything was especially clean. The service was immediate, attentive, and very pleasant. The food was fresh and super hot with generous portions. The range of flavors was outstanding! We will come back.
