I use to live in Waukesha back some decade and so ago and this place is an absolute refresher to this town for me personally. I come back here quite often for work from out of state now and I believe I found my spot. I was looking for Gluten Free option places and this one intrigued me. I saw the menu, the food and OMG….ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The Tuna was made to perfection and even the Caesar salad was out of this world. The New Fashioned drink was so delicious. Atmosphere, staff, decor, and just the entire thing put together was amazing.

Go see what your missing! We did the Chief Sampling… Duck Tostadas, fried chicken, scallops with risotto and you will have to try all of the delicious desserts! Especially the sticky toffee pudding for dessert is out of this world! Friendly staff and special spirits.

We just tried Tofte’s for the first time and loved it! Had a reservation and were seated immediately. Service was great and prompt.
The food was delicious. We had the duck confit which was phenomenal. The maple bacon brussel sprouts were perfectly crisp. The short ribs were great as well. We ended with the toffee bread pudding and it was so flavorful, arguably the best thing we ate.
They also have a very large mocktail menu – this is what actually prompted me to try this place, as there were probably 15 or more options which was great as I don’t drink but still like to enjoy a fun “cocktail” at dinner. I had the berry “no-tini” and it was delicious! My husband had a few standard drinks and really enjoyed them.
I do wish their reservations weren’t only available two weeks out – for more popular days you really have to be on it to get a spot. But other than that, once you’re there it’s amazing! We can’t wait to try other items on the menu!

The best restaurant in this area. I frequently go here. Duck tostada, short ribs, octopus are some of my staples. The sticky toffee pudding for dessert is the best thing on earth. This is just such a great place.

I have lived in Waukesha for 4 years and this is most definitely among my top 3 places in the area. Every meal I have had here has ranged between excellent to super excellent. The service is so friendly, the atmosphere is so fun, and the food is very creative and extremely delicious. Highlights for me include the fried chicken drumstick which comes in a honey and maple syrup sauce that is simply divine, the burrata and which comes with delicious grilled crostini, the ahi tuna which is a newer offering on the menu, and the tenderloin with the truffle mashed potatoes. I also enjoy the duck tostada but on the last visit, it just seemed overpowered by so many other creative dishes. And with dessert, you must end with the toffee bread pudding. The only dish I have ever had here that I did not enjoy was the scallops. I did think they were a little overcooked the two times I had them. Everything else has been simply magnificent! To I’m getting hungry again at I write this! I don’t highly recommend places very often, but this place is special. It’s one of those places. I bring my friends every time they are in town. Thank you for so many great dinners!

We dined in for our three year wedding anniversary. My husband just had hip surgery and staff was wonderful making sure he was comfortable! My husband also had flowers delivered to the restaurant and staff had them waiting at our table for me.
The food was phenomenal, I especially liked that it was smaller bite plates because you were able to order more of a variety and try multiple things!

Such an amazing experience! my mom has a pretty severe allergy to peppers which can be a more challenging allergy to navigate when eating out. despite this, both the owner and our waitress did such an amazing job brainstorming how to modify the menu and find things that my mom could eat even going to far to research my mom’s allergy to double check on things that could have been inflammatory to her system outside of what we specifically brought up. on top of that, both the food and drinks are absolutely to die for. i will forever be dreaming about those scallops and brussel sprouts! Tofte’s is such a special place and from the people to the food i really cannot recommend this place enough.
