This is our go to sushi spot! Great rolls. We had their lunch bulgogi bento box which included a miso soup, salad, and vegetable tempura. We also had their tuna takaki roll and their tuna takaki salad. The tuna was seasoned and seared nicely.

Definitely enjoyed my lunch while on break, service at the sushi bar was very fast and even got a complimentary salad with tuna! I would definitely recommend!! Also my roll was half off “shrimp tempura crunch roll” i added cucumber and cilantro!

It’s a nice neighborhood restaurant. I had their take out before during the pandemic last year. It was pretty nice. This time, we dined in. We tried their two rolls. They are both pretty good, not amazing, but yummy enough for a casual weekday dinner. The tempura’s batter is a little bit too thick, but the flavor is fine.

Came here with my wife on a Monday for dinner. They have half of selected items. We ordered gyoza, nigiri and rolls. The fish on the nigiri were okay quality. The eel was the best of the nigiri we ordered. The rolls made up for flavor, although most of the rolls we looked at were just a California roll with different fish on top. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick. The environment was good and not loud. We sat outside where they had heaters to keep the area comfortable. We would come back for their special if we were in the area.

Amazing place ! My friend needed gluten-free options and they brought out three custom-made sauces for her. Service is amazing. This place is busy for a reason! Happy hour is very busy with 50% off special rolls. I especially loved the green tea as well. All sauces are homemade. Every role has been amazing. Thank you Todo!

Probably the best quality sushi for the price point in the scrips/Mira Mesa area. I’ve been coming to this place for years and it has never once felt like the quality dropped.
The complimentary welcome salad was very good, enough portion to cleanse the pallet and not to fill us up and it had chucks of fish in it.
For starter we got the deep fried oysters and didn’t quite look like what I expected. It was good but it’s heavier than any other oyster and it’s not served on the shell.
The Todo Roll, that has tomato and onions on it, is tastier than it should be so my compliments to the chef and I highly recommend to everyone to try.
The JoJo Roll with the thin slice of lemon was very refreshing and fresh. The lemon added the much needed acidic flavor to the fresh and simple complex of salmon sushi.
Awesome roll was ok but our least favorite. It had way too much flavor and different texture that kinda lost its purpose.
The torched salmon roll is what the awesome roll should have been. Perfect texture, great complex and just enough flavor. So if you’re thinking about Awesome roll I highly recommend getting this one instead.

Really creative fun sushi with lots of sauces and toppings. Sit at the bar and the sushi chef may hand out some extras like the stuffed jalapeno for free. We loved the salad with the raw fish and the baked rolls were super. The chef we talked to was from Arizona and he’d created a surf and turf roll with steak that he broiled with a blow torch and complimented with cilantro. The only thing I would do differently, would be to order one more simple roll as they were all very rich. The presentation was beautiful. Highly recommend.

What should have been a standard food order pick up That my wife sent me to go getquickly turned hostile and negligent, Whoever Is the older lady working the front desk needs to be seriously reconsidered. Let me paint it for you. I had arrived on time to this location and waited patiently at the front. This employee was finishing what I believe was another order so I waited for her then suddenly another customer came in and she immediately address them and then went back to working on that order. I step forward thinking she didn’t notice me somehow and Asked about my order she gave me a very surprise look which I assumed was from her realizing she didn’t notice me standing there. I gave her the name it was under and she Took a step back and I guess couldn’t find it. I asked her if she needed the name or order number, but she gave number she brought over instead another employee who I gave the name to I asked them both if they needed a name or order, but before she could even reply, the older lady who I had first spoken to interrupted and said so what does he need and she said she didn’t know, even though I had just asked her if she needed the name or order number, and then this old ladies did something incredibly rude and shush me away both the gesture, and a very ugly look, as if I was not the one prepared it wasn’t until a third member a nice tall gentleman noticed and came over and asked me what I was picking up and I gave him the name just like everybody else and he was somehow able to immediately find it and give me the order so I don’t know what happened with your team today, but it was very unpleasant Unprofessional unwelcoming. I have never experienced this so please do better in the future for whatever other Online order customers you may have. I don’t really want anything out of this. I just want you to know what you think was wrong and you shouldn’t treat people like that.
