This restaurant is my favorite for BBQ of any kind in Vernon, AL. The waitresses are all so nice and get the job done. They have a lot of variety on the menu.

Tl;dr not nasty, but not average. More like unpleasant food.
Every last bit of this food came out of a bag except the bbq sauce which tasted like Baby Ray’s, and rhe wings which had no seasoning besides what the smoker gave. The sweet tea genuinely tasted like it had cigarette ash in it. I didn’t eat the pork, but my mom said it was equally as dull in flavor. I was pretty let down, Vernon, not gonna lie. Just make more stuff by hand like sauce and season the frozen stuff with your own seasonings! You have a good place to build from and I know this place can improve if they care to.

The waitresses were completely rude and so was the staff in the back. We ordered our food and the waitress dropped our plates on the table and said “I don’t know which is which so you can switch them if this is wrong” and when I asked if they served coke or pepsi she stared and said “yes.” Then I said “coke..?” And she said “yes?”
Food wasn’t good, it’s cheap because it’s bad. Cole slaw was disgusting, barbecue tasted flavorless and gross. The place itself is outdated (which is fine) but the table was also sticky and gross so I had to wipe it down.

I enjoy this place a lot. I usually get take out, and I get the Grilled Catfish plate. I get 3 fillets, but I barely can finish that, so I may just stick to two. Still very delicious, though! Plus their breakfast is good, too!

Horrible first experience there. We were seated without menus. Our orders were wrong, and my brisket was DRY as cardboard. The atmosphere was terrible, and there was no soap in the bathroom .

T S B was a big disappointment! We drove out of town to try this place. My briskets was tough as leather with absolutely no smoke flavor and a butter knife to cut with. My baked beans tasted straight out of a can and barely warm with maybe a little bbq sauce added. The coleslaw was very bland also. The sweet tea had a faint water hose taste. My husbands pulled pork sandwich was fair but no smoke flavor at all. I did eat a few bites of his sandwich because I was starving! The dining area and kitchen looked very clean. The young waitress was inexperienced and very soft spoken but polite enough. Oh well!!! Just trying to give a small restaurant some business. I’ll stick with what I know is good bbq.
