Attended the “oyster riot” yesterday afternoon with two other couples. Fantastic does not describe the food, service, wine and atmosphere!! Everything was so good! Raw,steamed, fried and oysters Rockefeller. Gumbo, sliders etc. wine tasting was so much fun. Can’t say enough about the wait staff. This was our second year attending this event and we will be back! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

These guys rock ! Little quickly put together dinner for the now joining family. Son proposed on the battleship, and these guys made sure the dinner went off without a hitch ! Thank you again. But onto the food. My meatloaf (huge fan of it) was extremely excellent! Everyone enjoyed all the dishes and the prices are very spot on fot th level of quality you receive. We will back back. Thank you again to all of you !!!

Had the pleasure of hosting a business dinner at Todd Jurich’s Bistro, and it was the perfect setting for an evening with clients. The atmosphere strikes a great balance between upscale and comfortable — professional without feeling stiff.
The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every course was thoughtfully prepared, and the service was attentive and polished, which made it easy to focus on conversation and connection.
An ideal spot in Norfolk for client dinners or any occasion where you want to impress while still feeling at ease.

Went there for my brother‘s birthday, and had an enjoyable evening. Started with the coconut Calamari, she crab soup, and watermelon salad. I had the Indiana Jones halibut, my wife had the crabcakes and my brother the steak. Everything was excellent and I would highly recommend this Restaurant if you’re ever in Norfolk

I decided to try Todd Jurichs based on their Restaurant week menu. But I don’t need a special menu to go back. Whether you are dining with friends or hoping to make a first-date impression, you will satisfy your needs in this fine dining atmosphere and amazing food! Our experience began at the bar where we met Rob. His friendly demeanor convinced us that we made the perfect choice for my birthday celebration! Rob is welcoming and engages with his guests! His personality and geniune approach is a much-needed change in this area where I have found that many bars merely tolerate their patrons! Todd’s is a special place. You go in as a stranger and leave feeling a great sense of pride from all the people that serve you and you leave feeling like family.
Rob is truly the perfect bartender! We also had the pleasure to meet Eve who is an excellent counterpart at the bar! Rob and Eve made our night special. Look forward to going back soon.

Our experience was decent overall, though there were a few disappointments worth noting.

I called 3 hours in advance and reserved a table of 2,

The restaurant was clearly set up for Restaurant Week, with many tables beautifully decorated with fresh flowers—except for the one we were seated at, which felt like an oversight. After being seated, the host asked for my name again, which seemed disorganized. Additionally, while other parties of two were given full booths, we were placed at a 4 person table with 2 chairs that was in the direct path of most of the restaurant staff, which felt inconsistent.

Jon, our server, was excellent—attentive, friendly, and ensured our dishes arrived promptly, which we appreciated.

I started with the agave margarita, which unfortunately wasn’t to my taste. It was overly salted and lacked balance, making it hard to enjoy.

The appetizer course was a highlight: the tomato caprese with burrata was fresh and well-prepared. For the entrée, I opted for the duck, which came with a $7 upcharge. While the flavor was great, the portion size was underwhelming—just four small pieces of duck, which left me wanting more.

Dessert was the key lime crème brûlée. While I’m a fan of both components individually, the fusion didn’t quite deliver. The texture was right, and the shell had a good crisp, but the key lime flavor was barely present beyond the surface.

All in all, there were some strong points, particularly in service and certain flavors, but the experience felt uneven and could benefit from more attention to detail.

Phenomenal bartenders. Spectacular service and DELicious patty melt. I’m not sure about chilling wine in the same ice used to make drinks. It is a nice happy hour as advertised, but it’s hectic in here. The space is really tight with a lot of people, and it is quite loud. The cash price is cheaper but they don’t give change in coins.

We had a reservation on New Year’s Eve at 8:15pm. We waited at the hostess stand for at least 10 minutes, watching several servers walk by, look at us, and continue walking. Once the hostess finally came up to us, she seated us right away and said a server would be with us shortly. After 15 minutes of us waiting in our booth, no one came up to us. I kept looking at the hostess, very confused as to why no server had come to our table. The hostess came over and asked Has a server been here to take your order? We said no, then she went and grabbed a server and told them to take us. We ordered a Manhattan, and the bartender made it with twice the amount of sweet vermouth, making it taste like horrible cough syrup. They remade it, and it still tasted wrong. The evening’s menu was a set menu—$ 79 for three courses. The hostess brought us over two glasses of champagne to make up for the long wait. When we were about to order, they told us that several of their items were 86. The best thing we had that night was the oysters. We didn’t leave till after 11 o’clock. We will never be back, since we had such high expectations from all the reviews and the price point. Spent over $200 for bad drinks, bad food, and bad service.

This place is hard to judge. The food is immensely hit or miss, as there have been times where my food has been some of the best I’ve had in Norfolk, and there has been times where it was almost inedible. The place could use a refresh on the design, but so could most restaurants in the same category in downtown Norfolk. The servers are very kind, attentive, focused, and excellent at what they do. Overall, great restaurant just relatively inconsistent for the price

We had a lovely Valentine’s prix fixe menu. Service was excellent and the ambiance was lovely. The only reason I gave them 4 stars for food was because we ordered the brussels and bacon as an extra side and it was very underseasoned and there was no bacon in sight- not even the flavor of bacon fat. Also the pecan rice we ordered was super bland- it could’ve used herbs, some salt, something- it tasted like plain boiled rice-rather underwhelming.

My husband’s duck and my rockfish were excellent, and my spinach was super tasty. The tuna poke appetizer was super delicious: both the tuna’s marinade and the seaweed salad was very well done.

Overall, it was a lovely meal. Would recommend.
