OMG!! This place is amaze-balls! Friendly staff, fresh food done quickly, and the the flavor is downright delicious.

Tucked in by Bay View Fitness and across from Stitchweld is this tasty spot waiting for you! My son says look for the building with flowers and you’ll find Todd’s!

We tasted an array of things: chicken tenders with Thai chili sauce, wings with mango habanero, gyoza, bulgogi gyoza, sesame salad, karaage, korokke and chicken curry. We wanted to try a bit of everything. Nothing disappointed. The flavors hit, presentation beautiful, and the food was bursting with flavor. Check this place out and enjoy something new and exciting in BV.

Todd (a Thai word meaning “fry”) is a tiny, tucked away spot off of the main drag of Bayview. There are four seats and enough room to order, but plenty of seating on the patio and picnic area in the back. We came in the fall and sat in a heated pergola. They also had a screen and projector playing sports and a fire pit to sit around, which felt pretty cozy… I cannot imagine sitting in this in the dead of a winter but it could be worth it for the food! You need to come and try this place if you have any appreciation of fried chicken in all its glorious forms! The fried wings are marvelous and come in various sizes with the larget being 21 wings with three choices of powders and sauces. We tried Tom Yum, which is powder and tastes of vinegar and pickles and warm spice! We also had Larb powder which was tingly, warm and left my mouth just salivating from the dry heat. The third one was a sauce called Thai sweet chili and was the perfect compliment to the dry powders. I would highly recommend the beef gyoza with katsu sauce. It was just fried to a nice thin crisp with some very tasty beef, dipped into the sweet and tangy fats made the perfect pairing. We dared to try the takoyaki, which I can only describe as lightly fried mashed potato and chopped octopus balls. Not our favorite, but we are not huge fans of octopus. The korokke was reminiscent of mashed potatoes lightly in oil fried with mayo and katsu drizzled on top. Very serviceable. The staff were very helpful and friendly and answered all of our questions. Overall, I would highly, highly recommend coming here for the Todd chicken!

I love me some fried chicken, and this one is delicious!! Even though I needed to order to go and travel 40 minutes before I could try, it was still delicious. So definately travels well. I’m sure that eating over there would be even better, the patio is very pleasant and the day today was gorgeous. The service was great and food came out fast. That’s a place I’ll stop by again. The whole menu seems very tasty, can’t wait to try some more items from their menu.

Chicken was very juicy and freshly fried. Mixed 3 different flavors. Mango habanero, laab, and sczechaun. Wife did say habenero had some spice kick to it. The laab and sczechaun was very flavorful but heavily seasoned which was a bit overpowering. If it had a nice light seasoning, they would have been stars. The cheesey beef gyoza was very good. We all loved it. The fries were fresh and perfectly cooked. Will definitely come back to try this hidden gem.

Great foods, large portions, decent price, friendly staff, nice open seating. The seatings is outdoors, is clean and modern, resembling Chicago s Goose Island area or Portland. The music was at the right volume, allowing for conversations. The portions are bigger than we thought, considering the reasonable pricing. We ordered regular and sweet potato fries, chicken tenders, and chicken curry. All were exceptional. The breading was crispy and even, without random hard bits. The meat was moist and tender. The curry was flavorful, without being over bearing, with bits of pickled radishes. They have Thai tea, which was a pleasant surprise. A great plus is that they serve on paper plates and bowls instead of plastics.
I’d wished that the spicy mayo were a little less sweet

Literally a hidden gem. I mean literally. Situated behind the “finer” dining establishment, Room Service. Despite its hidden location, Todd’s high quality take on Asian fried food should not go unnoticed.

Todd offers a casual, engaging, and mostly outdoor dining experience for delicious fried food. The way I see it, it’s a place you come to with friends and hang out around it as you wait for your food. It has this food truck “vibe” for some reason. It’s local, energetic and clearly innovative.

I say innovative in direct reference to the menu. It’s the right size. Not too long to confuse you, and not too short to force you to get something you don’t crave. We tried several menu items and I think my overall rating for food is 4/5. The flavor is rich, complex and subtle at the same time. No flavor was overwhelming. The breading on the tenders was a TINY bit too much. It took away from the chicken but not too much.

We visited on a Sunday. We waited about 45 minutes for food. It was absolutely no problem since everything around us was so pleasant. We ordered to go. Packaging was really good.

The men’s bathroom was locked for some reason which is something I do not like. The staff were too busy for me to interrupt them.

I really enjoyed my food. I loved the wings! This place is very popular for takeout so we didn’t realize how many orders were in front of ours. Just be aware that even if it doesn’t look busy they probably have plenty of online orders. There is a great outside patio for seating because there isn’t really space to eat inside.
