Today’s Ketch Seafood Restaurant is a hidden gem, though it is likely well-known among the local community. Eight of us visited for a late lunch, and we found both the food and service to be exceptional. We, of course, enjoyed the crayfish and the sampler platter, complemented by a refreshing cold beer!! Highly recommend and looking forward to returning.

After trying to take the appropriate steps to resolve a situation and being what felt like an interrogation by the owner when speaking with him (Jeff) I decided to share my experience with others. My order was for 4lbs of crawfish and a dozen female crabs. I was not given my cash discount, shorted a pound of crawfish and given 4/12 male crabs. I contacted the store the day this happened and was told that they were to busy and to call back and speak to Jeff on a weekday. I did this and he treated me as if he did not believe me that I had weighed my crawfish when I got home to know that it was an entire pound short, asked if I had eaten the male crabs and I told him no that I had them frozen in my freezer. He said he didn’t want them and asked why I did not call that day and waited. I explained that I did and that is when he started questioning me and acting as if I went about the situation all wrong or I was not telling the truth. Instead of addressing the situation as a professional business owner I was made to feel like I did something wrong. I told him that we had been customers for over ten years and instead of thanking me I was told they have been in business for forty years and acted as if no one has ever had an issue. He offered to give me back what I was over charged and a pound of crawfish. There was no mention of the crabs. They were the wrong crabs and not what we enjoy eating but were left to settle. The crawfish was mediocre compared to other places and the hot food it pricey but the location was close to home so it made it a reasonable choice. After feeling that I was treated like I was trying to get something I did not deserve and questioned like a criminal I will NEVER go back. My family and friends feel the same way and we have since tried Casanova Seafood down the road and we were treated like valued customers and the prices are so much better! I tried to give this small business a chance before leaving a review but it made me feel worse. The thing that makes me feel best is that I will never have to deal with this type of unappreciation from this owner who lacks accountability. I can understand the other negative post on the behavior of the owner and agree. It is sad that you will throw away a long time customer over literally four crabs and not care. I will spend my money where I feel appreciated and not just “another customer”. Also, make sure you are given your cash discount because it is no telling how many others have been cheated out of what they deserved.

On yesterday 02/27, I went in the afternoon ordering the half and half dinner, I was very pleased because the food was good, hot and well seasoned. The fish and the shrimp were crispy and crunchy the way I like it fried , also the fettuccini and macaroni also the salad were good too. Also the price was reasonable- I will be back again soon.

Lovely people and lovely food. Everything was fresh and delicious, especially the shrimp and oysters! The gumbo was really good as well. My only regret is that I did not bring a cooler to take some of their chilled goodies home!

MUST visit location for your vacation, date, family get together or just because you want to! The employees are super friendly and happy to help with any questions you might have! The food was delicious and cooked to perfection! The soft shelled crab was amazing!!! Will definitely visit again when in the NOLA area! Thank you ladies for an awesome meal!!

Fantastic seafood restaurant. The corn and crab soup was delicious, the stuffed crab with jambalaya was great too. The hot crawfish boudin was my favourite though, so tasty. Service was quick and friendly and food was great value for money. Highly recommended

It’s a little bit off the beaten path. However, the food is fresh, clean and delicious. Crawfish is made with a balance of spices. Everything is fairly priced and there is a constant inflow of customers. I highly recommend this place for seafood needs. Po-boys are also a big plus.
