Toby’s Tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had! What makes them special is that Toby himself prepares them fresh. The tacos come on corn tortillas with your choice of meat and you can ask for onions and/or peppers to be included. All the classic sides such as onion, cilantro, radish, and salsa are available on the table, so you can build to your heart’s content. I highly recommend trying the al pastor, which includes pineapple for a delicious sweet contrast. The seasoning on all the meats is incredibly flavorful, making each bite a tasty bite. If you’re a street taco lover, come visit Toby’s!

Great place and the prettiest street tacos in Sacramento. Fast and friendly service and lots of extras to dress the tacos. Hits the spot and make sure to have a 7-up with the El Pastor tacos to bring out the tangy!

If you like your quesadillas and mulitas super creamy then this is your spot. It seems like they add crema or something. So when they say with everything you should ask what that means. I am not at all interested in crem and have never experienced this before. Service is great

I love finding a hidden gem in a parking lot
Following my absolute love of birria, my friend introduced me to this place that has DELICIOUS birria fries AND incredibly TASTY AUTHENTIC agua fresca AAAAND horchata absolutely amazing, fair priced and the owner is so cool! Don’t be scared to walk up and order just because it’s in a shopping center, the food is legit and worth every penny.
***Only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so treat yourself if you’re in the area on the weekend!

Toby’s made me like pork again. I have tried and I have tried but I still have not found al pastor as good as Toby’s. The first time we placed an order here, We were sitting and waiting for our food when the owner offered us a sample of the Al pastor. Up until then I was never really much of a pork person. But his pastor is so good and so flavorful that it became my favorite meat. I’ve tried it at every Mexican restaurant I have been to since then, which believe me was a lot, his always takes first prize. It might get a little busy, especially because he’s only in the neighborhood on Friday Saturday and Sunday nights, but the food, all of it is worth the wait.

Toby’s secret family al pastor recipe is not to be out done. Tender, slow roasted meat erupting with flavor paired with lip tingling hand crafted salsas make for an exceptional experience. Whether enjoyed as classic street tacos or atop seasoned fries there’s no denying the urge to finish every bite served. Toby doesn’t stop there, the birria is likewise top class!

Birria and Al pastor are some of the best in the city. The rest is good, but not on the same level. Street tacos come with just meat and tortillas, you add the salsa/toppings you want

What’s better on a warm summer night than some homemade, fresh tacos al pastor! Def def glad we stopped here rather than go to our usual place. Sooo good.
