We really enjoy coming here. We have been here a few times and haven’t had a bad experience yet. We always have a great waitress who knows the food and are willing to share what they like. The food is always really good. This last time I got the Chicken Alfredo and she had the Buffalo chicken Mac n Cheese. Both were delicious. We have sat all over the restaurant and it has every kind of seating area you can think of. Bar area, outside beachie areas, a more private dining room area. All around a great place with awesome vibes and great food!

So my companion and I stopped at the Crab Barn , well, what was formerly the Crab Barn. It’s a very cool building. But it has morphed into more of a beachy theme sports bar.. Nobody really wants to go to the beach in the wintertime, especially with snow on the ground.
But we stopped in.
The décor has the Beachy vibe, large, light colors.
We did forget about the weather while we were there. So it is a good place to visit in the wintertime, if you’re getting the winter blues.
The Food was quick to come out. I had a red beet and goat cheese salad. So that was above typical “bar food”.
My companion had a burger, which was well done with fries. Pretty standard bar fare on the burger. The varied offerings on the large menu is commendable for non burger folks.
Our drinks were well made , and our bartender was personable. We’re looking forward to going back in the warmer weather to sit in the outdoors space, which looks like a chill space. Especially in evening. But Definitely worth a visit in the winter.

Was also good to learn that they are open until midnight and we were there on a Sunday, which is almost unheard of now a days post covid, in the bar business. There is a pool table and plenty of
tv visability to watch sports , etc.

We went to Tobias Frog on Friday and had a great time! Our server, Star, was wonderful and pleasant, very helpful and friendly. All the food was awesome. I had an amazing lobster mac n cheese entree. The fried chicken mash bowl and the bang bang shrimp appetizer were delicious! I look forward to our next visit.

This is a common ruse, a classic misdirection to test the vigilance of the unsuspecting. To truly breach the compound, one must circumnavigate the main building and approach from the rear, a maneuver that feels more like a clandestine operation than a simple dinner outing.
My reconnaissance led me to one of the outdoor bars, a place where the humid air had, over time, rendered the lacquered bar top with a sticky, tacky film. It was an unforeseen variable, but even I, BatmanJawn, must adapt to my environment. It was on this very bar that I encountered a painted mermaid, a whimsical detail that prompted a momentary, and fruitless, attempt at alliance.
The true focus of this mission, however, was sustenance. I engaged with a formidable opponent known as the Frog Burger. This double-patty smashburger, armed with jalapeños, was a triumph of flavor and heat. Been here a few time now hoping for a different result. Went once to watch the eagles game and the tvs weren’t in sink so one thing was happening on one tv the didn’t happen on the main tv that had the volume horrible. Now im here order take out place is damn near empty food say it’ll be ready at 542 its not 620 and all I keep getting is it’ll be ready in a minute meanwhile people that came in after me are being served I don’t get it

Our first time here was a pleasant experience. Great food great atmosphere. We sat at the bar. Our server Star was diligent and met our needs very well. The menu was vast with great choices. A little pricier then most places around Berks county, but I don’t mind paying a little more if the service and food are exceptional.

Came in the middle of the day after lunch and it was nice and quiet. Service was excellent with attendants offering full information and suggestions. Mahi tacos & tiki stir fry is refreshing on a hot day. As well as a few delicious beverages!

Can’t say enough about this place! We eat here frequently, and most recently came for their Halloween party. By far, the best experience we have had with a bar “party”. The staff that night deserve a raise! We ordered food which came out fast, & was AMAZZINNGG! Best boneless wings & fries. Cooked to perfection. The bartenders were quick, pleasant, and made the night. They were able to keep the drinks coming, smiling and laughing, even with such a large event. Thank you Tobias Frogg for making our night fun! Well done!

I enjoyed my brunch here. Plenty of seating options. There’s an outside bar, a large section of tables outside and a building that is half open (open doors and natural light) that I sat in. So many brunch options and they had a dj playing music. Menu had so many options for everyone. We ended up getting 2 appetizers and had 2 boxes of leftovers because the servings are so generous. Pictured is the crab dip with a pretzel, the pulled pork nachos and lobster mac and cheese. Will be returning!

The food was really good. We ordered the cheese fries with Bacon and Ranch. They were soo cheesy and creamy. It was also a really big order, enough for all 4 of us. The drinks were good for the most part, the mojito we got was a little off but they quickly remade it to my wife’s liking.
The service was good. There were times we had to wait for our server but it wasn’t a long drawn out time. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Tobias Frogg has a very laid back beach vibe to it. The outdoor seating really leaned into this. It was really loud where we sat as the tables are very close together.
The food and drinks are a bit on the fancier side which kind of contradicts the atmosphere a bit. Great place for good food and time to hang out with friends.
