We were looking for a place to grab a quick bite before driving back to the Twin Cities when I saw this place was recommended on Google. Took a look at the menu and turned to my friend to say, “I have a feeling this place is gonna be fantastic.” This place had the vibe of a small on-the-go meal place you would find on a college campus, but with amazing food and super reasonable prices. The food was phenomenal. The wait was a little longer than expected but still fast for the amount of work going into it. Everything we got was made to order and you could hear this dude doing the most in the kitchen. I hope that the next time I’m in Duluth, this business has expanded into whatever the owner has dreamed for it. I would not be surprised if the prices have gone up to help the business grow, but with prices that affordable, it’s hardly something to complain about.

I had an amazing experience at Toasty’s. I ordered the Steak-tastic, and it absolutely lived up to its name. The steak was delicious, the caramelized onions and sautéed mushrooms blended perfectly, and the bread was toasted to that ideal crunchy finish.
The menu is simple yet impressively inclusive, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality. The ambiance was warm, quiet, and comfortably spaced, which made the whole visit even better.
The staff deserves their own shoutout. They were kind, understanding, respectful, and genuinely helpful. It’s rare to find service that consistent and friendly.
Overall, great food, great price, and a great experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning soon!

The food was really good! I had the apple chicken and Gouda, it was awesome. The man was really friendly, and the experience of ordering was like talking to an aquaintence instead of just someone working there. It was surprisingly empty, with only me and my girlfriend being there. Lots of seating.

Ate at before noon on a Saturday, place dead. Staff was super nice. I got the roasted portabela mushroom sand and hubby the chicken ranch something. So good. If I lived closer I’d eat there all the time. Workers friendly and food amazing

Enjoyed a fresh and tasty meal here. This place is really a hidden gem. Lots of potential. Duluth definitely needs a place like this. Tom is up and coming chef who is a good addition to the food scene in Duluth. Waiting to hear more about the exciting expansion of this establishment.

First time at Toasty’s and had a great experience. Very friendly staff and very little to no wait for my food. I had the Turkey Tom and a bowl of tomato basil soup that were both delicious. Will definitely frequent this place when I’m in town!

Ew. We came here for lunch. I think perhaps they do not have enough workers. It took nearly 20 mins to even see anyone. The worker was sweet but the service was not good. We ordered the steak salad,.pb&j, bruschetta, and a Jalapeno pepper slider. It was all lacking flavor and honestly was gross. I love bread, but this bread was nasty. The bathroom was gross too. The building itself is cute though. This was the worst lunch we’ve had in a while. The best thing we ate were the ruffle potato chips. We will not be returning. I am unsure how this place has a high rating.

Staff was very friendly. The food was tasty and inexpensive. A sandwich and chips was about $7 for good quality meat, cheese and bread. I’d eat here again!
