We loved toastique. The food was great and it did not feel like a chain restaurant. It was the perfect way to start our trip in Washington DC. The Avocado toast was very fresh. I would be back for sure. The atmosphere was also very quiet.

Really good place. Who knew something as simple as toast could be elevated from “side” to “meal”. This was the first Toastique I’ve visited and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Great food, service, and atmosphere. I got the Smoked Salmon and it was delicious. The portion size is generous and you may have to use two hands to eat it because the toppings are heaped generously and high. It was worth every penny. The location is on the west end of Old Town Alexandria and parking is pretty easy because this side of Old Town is less busy. It’s worth a visit. I’ve been back quite a few times.

Everything was perfect and the food was delicious. The staff was helpful and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I ordered avocado toast, but the egg was cold, which was a bit disappointing. If the egg had been hot, I would have given this place a five-star rating. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, and I’d consider returning for another visit.

The wait to order and then get my food was a bit long, but worth it. The salmon toast was fantastic! Very well put together, too. A feast for the eyes. The cappuccino was decent enough, but not the greatest. Significantly better than some others I’ve had in the area. Fellow coffee snobs, it’s hard to find a great, correctly made cappuccino in Alexandria.

If you are into fresh juices, healthy mixes and low calorie toasts – it’s a place for you. Definitely recommend smoked salmon toast & any of juices on the menu. But skip coffee (just average) and lattes (too sugary taste), instead try wellness shots.
