The food presentation is fabulous and the food itself is very flavorful! They have one pizza oven and they’ve perfected their pizzas (I’ve tried both pepperoni and margherita), but they only have ONE oven, and can only bake one at a time. It’s worth the wait!
Everything seems fresh and made to order. This restaurant is EASILY the best in the area.
The outdoor patio is small but pleasant.
The co-owner makes the lemonade from spring water and fresh fruit. It’s probably the best lemonade in the entire city!!! Flavors include regular, strawberry, and tropical.

Order at the counter, tell them which table you’d sit at so they’ll take your food over. Ordered the sausage, mushroom and green chilies pizza. Tastes good, dough on the underside is slightly raw making the pizza unfortunately doggy. The chicken sandwich was good. The sweet potato fries were not crispy, kind of limp and soft and over salted.

We tried this place out for breakfast this morning and I’m so glad we did. We were the first customers and they were thrilled to have us there. My wife ordered the two egg breakfast and me being difficult ordered five eggs over medium. No one ever gets them right over medium and the cook nailed every single one. The bacon, the potatoes, the toast, all of it cooked perfectly like there was a nana back there whose being doin it for 50+ years. Will we be back? Definitely. Will we bother to try anywhere else? Probably not, it was that good.

Stopped in here because the Tacos Locos was closed. I picked based on the high star rating. I wouldn’t go back. Maybe the breakfast is better than the lunch but for how expensive it was the food was not quailty. Frozen Fries, not cut or made in house same goes for the kids Nuggets. The Pepperoni Pizza was okay but very greasy. My salad was decent. $20 for a Rueben sandwich with no sauce, and frozen cooked fries was not worth it. They add a 20% gratuity for large parties, but you order at the counter and serve your own water from the water dispenser. We were a party of 6. I wasn’t feeling the vibe in here either. I wouldn’t say they were rude it was just unwelcoming.

I would have rated this breakfast bistro higher if not for the disappointing service experience. During our visit, Mr. Cook Bro was audibly complaining about the number of guests in the restaurant and even made inappropriate remarks about me bringing my family in for breakfast — apparently inconvenienced by having to prepare four entrées. There were five of us total, and his attitude unfortunately set a negative tone for the entire meal.
It was also disheartening to overhear the way he spoke to the servers from behind the service counter. I sincerely hope he is not the owner, as his demeanor reflected a lack of professionalism and hospitality, which is especially concerning for first-time guests.
On a positive note, the food itself was enjoyable. The pastrami special was well-portioned, and the seasoning on the potatoes and eggs was well-balanced and flavorful. The prices were reasonable for a boutique-style bistro in Manitou, but the atmosphere overall felt unwelcoming — the opposite of what I had anticipated.

Nestled perfectly between the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape and the vibrant charm of downtown Manitou, Toasted is a true local gem. This locally owned spot offers some of the best views in the area — whether you’re gazing at scenic mountainscapes or soaking in the lively downtown atmosphere.
The owners’ dedication to excellence is obvious from the moment you walk in. Every guest is treated like family, and it’s clear that both the food and customer service are held to the highest standards. The menu is full of fresh, made-to-order dishes that are seasoned to absolute perfection. One standout that can’t be missed is the Parmesan Crusted Chicken Tenders — crispy, tender, and paired with a house-made honey mustard sauce that’s simply to die for.
The ambiance is warm and inviting, with options for indoor dining, outdoor patio seating, or relaxing at the bar. Whether you’re in the mood for a cozy dinner inside or want to enjoy a sunny afternoon with a view, Toasted delivers an unforgettable experience every time.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for fresh food, friendly service, and unbeatable views!

I was blown away by their food. Looks like a quaint little restaurant for average food. The staff is very friendly, warm, and welcoming. I ordered the chicken sandwich. It was, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had. Each bite was so moist and tasty, the flavors swirling around my mouth. I didn’t have the homemade lemonade this time but will next. This is my new “go to” anytime I come back to Manitou Springs.

The Brie and fruit was tasty and cute! The burrito was very nice with their homemade salsa too! There is a very friendly squirrel outside who provides entertainment!

A little pricey but worth it. The ingredients are all fresh and the menu has a nice variety. Everything we’ve gotten here has been great. We especially enjoy sitting outside a listening to the creek and watching the squirrels. The owners are great people and passionate about what they do. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stopped in for lunch while exploring Manitou. This place was amazing. My wife had a gluten free bbq pizza that was downright amazing. The crust that they use for it is top notch. I had a turkey sandwich with green chiles and it was incredible as well. Yes, it is more expensive than fast food, but for the quality, the great hospitality, and the fact that your dollar stays local, it is a great value. The owner also makes several varieties of lemonade using nearby spring water and it is probably some of the best that I’ve had. You could tell how much he cared about it as he said all of the ingredients were sourced locally and is free of any artificial colors and flavors. To top it off, several squirrels were playing out on the patio. This place is a true gem in Manitou.
