Great Vibes and Tasty Food! We really enjoyed our visit to Toast and Tonic. There was a bit of a wait when we arrived, but we were seated quickly. The decor is fantastic – plants everywhere, on the walls and all the tables, creating a really fresh and vibrant atmosphere. They also have some lovely outdoor seating. We had the avocado toast and the bean burger, both of which were delicious. While we loved the burger, it could have used a sauce or some sort of spear to add a bit more moisture. We also particularly enjoyed the roasted sweet potatoes – they were excellent! The menu is nicely put together, and while we’d appreciate seeing a few new vegan additions, overall, it’s a great spot. We’ll definitely be back!

Toast + Tonic will inspire you. The food is uncanny. We went here twice in two days because we couldn’t resist the cravings. The menu is stacked with amazing meals, side dishes, drinks, and teas. Every option is a great option. The food is absolutely delicious. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner are all so, so good. The portions are perfect. The flavors are perfect.

The staff is really nice. Very attentive and courteous. We were there when it was packed and when there was an extra-large group (12+ diners). The entire restaurant was served well, served quickly, and served correctly.

There is some outdoor seating available as well. The inside gives off a mix of rustic and modern vibes. The colors and décor compliment the food and vibe perfectly. There is a small counter with baked goods and other items for sale.

Toast + Tonic is worth a trip by itself. And if you happen to be spending a day at the Olde Mystick Village shops area, make sure this restaurant is on your list of stops.

We stopped here for breakfast around 9. It opens earlier than the shops around it and has a nice selection of breakfast items. Restaurant was very clean and bright. We were first to arrive but it gradually fills as you get closer to the rest of the shops opening. Staff was friendly and checked on us regularly. Food was very good and I would say the quality is more towards the higher end than what you might find at a diner. I had the crab omelet and it was good but not quite as good as Kitchen Little but the meal as a whole was elevated by believe it or not the potatoes. They were dry well seasoned and just a nice savoury taste to go with the omelette. Now my son (early 20’s)had the corned beef benny and he preferred this version over Kitchen Little. Specifically the way it was prepared and how the egg and hash were cooked.
If you plan on visiting the village go early and have breakfast. You will not be disappointed plus you get really great parking spots before everyone shows up.

Wife and I showed up little after 7am on a cold Sunday morning. We had the dining room to ourselves the whole meal. I had the pumpkin crepes and a dirty Chai and my wife had the lobster Benedict. Kutchen was able to handle a strawberry and garlic allergy accommodation and brought my wife a bowl of rest fruit to replace the potatoes which have garlic. Food was very good quality and the dirty Chai was tasty. Nice atmosphere, very laid back and the living wall plant arrangements were a nice touch.

This place is so good for brunch, or any food before 3pm! I got a toasted cheese with tomato dipping side both were amazing! You could easily eat just the sauce alone that’s how good it is. They have sweet and savory treats to go as well if you don’t have time to sit. If you do sit the servers were so nice and had great suggestions. Will be back!

I had higher expectations of this place but sadly I was let down. I ordered a Bloody Mary (make it spicy). It was just a plain Bloody Mary, no garnish, very weak on the alcohol. And the part I found was it came with a salted rim like a margarita.
For my main dish I had the Lobster Benny on gluten free bread, it looked delectable at first glance but as I’m getting into I can clearly see that the Lobster is very dry and overcooked. The asparagus was also overcooked making it tough to cut, it just got very stringy. The poached eggs atop everything were also overcooked. The yolk had been mostly cooked through, so not much of that delicious egg yolk you’d see in a traditional eggs benedict

such a cute little brunch spot! the food & coffee were amazing, the bakery looked super delicious & the service was top tier. the hostess, jenna, was SO sweet and attentive. the aesthetic of the restaurant was well put together & very clean. not to mention, they have plants everywhere that come from the plant store right next store (also super cute would recommend checking out!). if you’re looking for a new breakfast/lunch spot, check them out!

I just want to preface this by saying that we’ve been here a few times and it’s a place I look forward to coming to for brunch when visiting Mystic – with that being said, I was highly disappointed today on President’s Day. The food as usual was fantastic. The service, however, makes me never want to return. It looked as though there was one primary server with maybe another to help run food. The primary server (our server) looked extremely overwhelmed because she was literally everywhere – hosting, serving, bussing, taking takeouts, answering the phone, and making the drinks. I would’ve ordered another mimosa; however, the primary server failed to return and only fleetingly checked-in as she was walking on by to tend to the many other things she had to do. She was literally doing everything she could in her capacity but to take on that many tasks as one person is virtually impossible. I think it needs to be further thought out how many servers to have on hand especially on a holiday weekend.

I love this cute brunch spot! The food is fun, the drinks are delicious & the vibe is always amazing. I love that it’s not only locally owned, but also women owned. If you’re looking for a fun breakfast spot with shops in walking distance, this is the place to go!

Bleu Squid was unequivocally better. I’ve ordered enough breakfast sandwiches with, “roasted potatoes” on the side too.
Hey, those so called “roasted potatoes” were fully under cooked.
I don’t recommend this place to anyone, and today was my last order.
Over priced, under delivering, goobers.
