Very loud! Breakfast bowl was amazing! We also got a biscuit and gravy and the biscuit was awful! It was dry and hard no matter the amount of gravy on it. But that breakfast bowl was really great. My partner a mixed drink, she described as very strong. But enjoyable. We will be back, if you like a quieter vibe I suggest waiting till its not so busy.

I always love coming here! The art and plants in there elevate the whole experience.
The food is always tasty! I love the cheesy noods bowls and their sweets.

Wow! What a gem!

Upon entering I was greeted by two very kind ladies. They explained the menu and offered suggestions.

The inside was very clean. The food and drinks were quick. And also very delicious.

Just spent a week in Nashville at all of the “best” brunch spots. This one was way better than anything I had there.

Will make sure to stop back in whenever I return.

I love the laid-back artsy feeling in this restaurant.
It is restaurant where you review the menu and then walk up to the counter and order what you’d like.
The food was really great.
The staff was very friendly and attentive to your needs, letting you know when your food’s
Refilling your coffee cup, etc.
And the prices were comfortably what you would expect with the food.
Definitely will be returning.

Since 2019, TOAST has been there for all my biggest moments. My first recommendation to anyone coming to Pittsburg is to visit this funky eatery with big flavor. This place takes the rich heritage of southeast Kansas eateries and builds a delicious foundation for the future. Saturday morning brunch features biscuits and gravy that cannot be missed. Toast points and ricotta garlic = drool. The specials are always to die for, and don’t forget a drink and gelato! Pro tip: open a tab and keep the food and drinks flowing.

Besides the great brunch, lunch and dinner service Toast goes above and beyond for their customers! Throughout the work week they offer grab and go items. They are extremely helpful with dietary restrictions such as vegetarian/vegan alternatives. Providing local ingredients with vegetarian options makes this one of my favorites in town!

Stopped in for lunch on a road trip from KC to Tulsa. Great little local place with a fun vibe. Our group ordered the Cuban Sandwich, B,L,A sandwiches, and I had cottage cheese and fruit drizzled with local honey. Everyone enjoyed their meal, yes the cottage cheese/fruit combo was just what I wanted. We sampled their Chipotle popcorn while we were waiting for our food. It was very tasty. If ever I find myself in Pittsburgh again in need of food, I would definitely treat myself to a tasty meal at Toast.

Food is not bad. It’s clean and has an interesting menu.

They don’t have biscuits and gravy for breakfast except once a week or something like that. I don’t know if it’s good because every time I’ve ordered it they’re not serving it even though it’s on the menu. There’s a special day or something.

Huge selection of hipster food with amazing flavor and superb atmosphere – you’ll enjoy this beautiful restaurant on 4th Street. It has the feel of a chic restaurant from Lawrence with local goods and ingredients sold here. If you want a hometown feel and a little cheaper price, head to Bob’s, Otto’s, or Harry’s.

We enjoyed a take-out breakfast that took 40 minutes to get to us. The food still had a great temperature despite some of it sitting on the counter for about 20 minutes. They already had a sign prepped explaining that because of a small kitchen and staff (of 2), orders can take more time.

The hold-up was mac and cheese. Noodles still a little firmer than al dente and the sauce dropped to the bottom of the bowl. The toast was all crunch. The breakfast sandwiches had good flavor, although the bread would have been easier to bite through if just a tad softer.

Overall, an great place to grab a bite if you are looking for a fresh, new taste.

This is one of our go-to spots for lunch and dinner because we know we will get a delicious meal and wonderful service every single time. The food is consistent, attractive, and made of quality ingredients from scratch — including their bread. Faves are The Dip (French Dip) and the Cheesy Noods (any style are great) or a Crunch A Munch Salad if I’m feeling “healthy.”
