I have given this place a try a few times now. The first couple times, I would describe it as adequate. The pizza lacks a bit of flavor and is very inconsistent, but it hasn’t been open long and you hope those things just work themselves out. Tonight was the deciding factor for me though; I ordered a deep dish pizza and it was the most disguising pizza I’ve ever had. The crust was thick and burnt on the outside, but somehow very underdone throughout the pizza. It lacked shape and was a huge mess. Lastly, it tasted horrible. I wanted this place to work out, this was the last straw for me.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

This is one of those reviews where if I could leave ZERO stars, I would. The little girl that answers the phones is completely incompetent. She rang up our order incorrectly and overcharged my debit card and proceeded to argue with me that the price was right. I’m sorry, but how can you charge someone $40.74 for 1 party pizza with a menu price of $23.99 and say it’s the tax?!?!

We tell her to cancel the order and give us a refund, and then she says she can’t. Her manager will have to do it when he gets back from deliveries. We still wanted the pizza, just for the correct price! So we ordered the same thing online, and what do you know? It was only $26.49. We went to pick up our order about 45 minutes after we placed it and it wasn’t done. My husband went back up there 15 minutes after that only to overhear this girl basically filling in her manager with all the chaos that happened while he was gone, including the details of our order. She straight faced LIED and said the order was right and of course she said how much it was before running the card – she didn’t! I had to tell my husband to call back to get the total! My husband didn’t say anything at the time because he is one of the most laid back chill people you could ever meet and he didn’t want to add fuel to this dumpster fire as the ‘manager’ was already visibly irritated.

So anyways, manager says sorry for the confusion, etc… I’ll get that other charge refunded for you. Should take 3-5 business days. That was Saturday July 2. Still waiting for that refund on August 17.

And to top it off – IT WAS THE WORST PIZZA I’VE EVER HAD!!!

I’ll be filing a dispute for the charge with my bank.

The owner and the wonderful/generous lady behind the counter were willing to stay late to make me a pizza after they had already closed since it was my first time being around. They are absolutely amazing and the customer service beat my expectations. I expected to be denied service but, they genuinely cared about taking care of me and my order. Definitely will be back! Small town love with small town generosity!

We thought we would give it one more try. We ordered the small deep dish and an order of bread. Was charged almost 50 dollars. Called, they said they would refund the difference. This never happened. On top of it the pizza was not edible. The pizza and bread were both undercooked. Completely doughy. Will not be back.

I waited for my pizza to be delivered for 2 hours, during which time, I had called twice to check on my order. The first time I called, after waiting over 50 minutes, a girl who answered, said it was out for delivery or at least she thought, she told me. After 15-20 more minutes, still no pizza. I called again. A man answered. I told him I wanted to cancel my order and to put the money back on my credit card. He said “sweetheart!” The pizza is already made and is out for delivery!” No refund. I had to call my credit card. After 2 hours of no pizza delivery, the driver called and said he couldn’t find my address and Google “isn’t working in these parts”. He continued to offer me the 2 hour old pizza to me. I said no thanks I don’t want to risk getting food poisoning. After that, the owner tried to call me. I used Google screening. He then admitted he was wrong and I was right and to come pick up my money. People, you can’t make this story up. This is for REAL. Never again. I would rather starve.

I ordered online and Rose called confirming my residence and that it was for delivery. I questioned the online payment offer of just cash and no debit card. Rose said she would get my order entered and call me back; there was no call back. I received an email confirmation at 7:20pm. At 8:20pm I still did not receive my order. I called Toarmina’s Pizza in Flat Rock, Rose answered the phone and immediately placed me on hold. I stayed on hold for 15 minutes until I was disconnected. I called again and was asked to hold when I attempted to say I was already on hold to no avail. My order arrived at 8:42pm. The subs and bread were lukewarm to cool.
I understand it may have been busy for being a new business in the area but what I experienced will not keep a paying customer’s patronage.
My order was sitting for awhile before delivering as the cheese from the bread sticks was stuck to the inside of the box, and the outside top of the box was wet- and not from rain.

First and last time ordering from this location. We ordered one pizza and a salad. We were told delivery would take around an hour but it actually took closer to two hours. By the time it finally arrived our pizza was cold. We then discovered they somehow forgot to put sauce on the pizza and they forgot our salad dressing as well. Not good at all.

I placed my order online. It did not give me my order total. I called and still wasn’t given my total over the phone. I received a call to get my address, which was already filled in with my online order. I ordered a side salad without tomatoes and olives and had them on the salad. My pizza wasn’t cut into slices. I also ordered a pop that I didn’t get. I will continue to order from the New Boston location. This location is trash.
