Service is good.

Shrimp roll is ok and it could be better to dip with fish sauce but not the sweet sauce. The raw beef noodle is alright and portion is good enough.

However the curry chicken was terrible. No matter the quality of chicken meat or taste of the curry, it was much much below my expectation. The curry feel like water and tasteless. Even though it is on lunch special section, i expect it could be better in taste. You could have a try on noodles but not the curry. I believe this is my first and last time to visit here.

Broth is hit or miss. This time good. Very delicate on the spices. But once the broth was no more than beef broth and darkened and flavored with soy sauce. Could give a little more of a portion on the add ins. Salt % Pepper Calamari, really crispy coating and so tender Calamari on inside. Nice spice too.
Clean place. And sometimes the servers and and what I would believe to be owners are a little cold and not friendly.

Small, unassuming place with a friendly staff.

I decided to go with the House Special. When I first got the dish, I thought it was going to be bland. Fortunately, I was very wrong. It was delicious! All the ingredients went quite well together. It was spicy, yet smooth. The broth was flavorful without being overpowering. And the taste of the various meats added a welcoming balance to the lime.

It was a delicious meal and not expensive at all. I would recommend this place.

Delicious non-fatty broth in their Pho. Each delightful soup brings an explosion of flavor.
Scallion pancakes remind me of my father’s recipe. The N04, the Wonton Soup with Egg Noodles is great on a cold, cold, Illinois day. Come, sit, relax with a hot bowl of Pho, and ponder life.

I was really pleased with this restaurant. It’s gotten mixed reviews, but while out last night I decided I wanted Pho and I was close by.

The place is nothing to look at. It’s in a small strip mall. The interior is kind of plain. The menu is small. In fact, I decided when first arriving that I really wanted Bahn Mi but didn’t see it on the menu. I decided to order Bun Cha Glo Dac Biet – Vermicelli noodles with shrimp, beef, vegetables, chopped peanuts and an egg roll. The Vietnamese egg roll is smaller than the Chinese one – more on the lines of a Filipino egg roll. The fish sauce was very good. But, I have to say the shrimp were better than what I’ve had in most places. They really were outstanding.

I noticed a sign on the table after ordering that listed their Bahn Mi sandwiches which were not on the menu. We ended up ordering four to take home to lunch the next day. Since I’m writing this after eating one of them, they were quite good.

House of Pho is not as close to my home as To Pho, but not too much further. Prices are about equal. Food quality is about the same, and the selections are pretty close. I’ll try it again to see which I prefer, but they are about equal for now.

One of my absolute favorites. We live a good 45 minutes away with no traffic and it is always worth the trip. PLEASE try the three cup chicken, Salt and pepper squid, and snag a bahn mi to go! I always get one every time.
Was not the biggest fan of the pad Thai, but I figured it was just an off day as we’ve never had issues before.
Place is very open and spacious. Owners/wait staff leave you to enjoy your meal in peace; they also never have issues with accomodating any requests made by customers.
This place is still a favorite after a good 7-8 years!

Great place for pho! I ordered the seafood pho and it was surprisingly good since this place is sorta hidden in a small strip of stores. Probably my most favorite pho place I know around here! Will come again and try their other noodle dishes.

Excellent Vietnamese restaurant, with some Chinese-style dishes on the menu as well. Beef pho was prepared well, and is a very large bowl. Onion scallion pork belly was very flavorful, the charred pork was crispy and delicious. Also enough for 2 people to eat. BBQ porks were decent as well. Service is great, they are very attentive even when busy.

Delicious. We each had a different kind of Bon Ga, and they were all great. We also had Bánh Xèo, which was equally fantastic. Cozy atmosphere. Friendly and efficient service. We can’t wait to go back.
