I am totally surprised and appreciative of the experience tonight of eating at TLC on our way through town. First, the home-brewed sweet tea. Then, the fabulous fried pickles. The burgers were outstanding, with very tender and juicy meat. A very lucky find – don’t miss it! 🙂

I stopped in on a road trip on a Friday night. Their special on Fridays is their fish fry, but I opted for the meatloaf instead. The owner came out, and brought me a small piece of fish, so I could see what I was missing. Both the fish and the meatloaf were very good. The service was fast, and friendly. If you go, try their homemade bread pudding for dessert, it was some of the best I’ve ever had.

The food was not too bad but, the service was not so great. We usually go in the am for breakfast or early afternoon for Lunch since the waitress Monique is very friendly and personable. The evening waitress not so much. We stopped going at night because she always acts perturbed that you show up, no smile, no conversation whatsoever. They close at 8 and we got there at 7. We barely sat down before she got her pad out to take our order. The couple that walked in 5 minutes after us even asked her if they were too late to be there after they seen her expression when they walked in !

Love this place! Definitely the best food in town. I stop by every time I have work in the area. I’ve gotten something different each time and have never been disappointed. Mostly American diner style food. Friendly service.

I spent $32.00 before tip on my dinner. That should have been a rockin’ dinner. But it was the worst. The fish looked like it was deep fried somewhere then frozen then baked to warm it up. It had overdone burn markings that don’t come from a fryer. Also I had the fried mushrooms. They looked like they came from a Costco wanna be store. They were so overcooked that my fork could not break through the breading. This was the second time I was Very disappointed. There won’t be a third!
