Came here at 9pm after a night scuba dive because everything else with vegan options was closed. They do have clearly marked vegan/vegetarian options (but only on their paper menu, not the digital screen). Staff was kind and helpful when clarifying about the ingredients in the food. The whole restaurant is very animal product heavy but they were happy to sub tofu for several of their dishes.
We ordered the lilikoi chicken (tofu) and the pad thai (tofu). Servings are huge! Both were $20 and one order was probably enough to feed two. The actual taste of the food was okay… I don’t think we’d come back as vegans unless we had no other options. I’m sure the non-vegan crowd probably have different experiences.
For everyone, be aware there are several additional charges:
– 3% surcharge for credit/debit card transactions
– 18% surcharge for parties of 4+
– 18% surcharge for dine in after 8:30pm
Not sure if the last 2 compound if you’re a part of 4 dining in after 8:30pm but… that is wild.

TK Noodle House is a gem worth visiting, especially for their Spicy Oxtail Ramen. The broth is rich and flavorful, perfectly balancing heat. The tender oxtail melts in your mouth, and the noodles soak up the delicious broth. Don’t miss the Chicharon, which is crispy and pairs wonderfully with a zesty dip. By the time we got back from stargazing at the observatory, it was already 9 PM. It’s usually tough to find good food on the Big Island that late, but thank goodness for TK. We ordered the Short Ribs and the Tom Yum Soup with Udon. The soup was delicious—the cilantro and onions were perfectly prepped, adding so much flavor. The beef came with shrimp crackers, which created such a great texture contrast with the fried shrimp and steak. It was such a warm, comforting meal for a late night!

Great spot if you’re newer to this style of food. My wife and I weren’t very familiar with noodle and hot pot dishes, so we actually asked another table what they ordered—and every recommendation turned out to be phenomenal.
The food was delicious, portions were huge, and the value for the price was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. We really enjoyed our meal and would absolutely come back again.

Arrived for dinner. TK Noodle over the years have listened and improved generously explaining their success lining out the door – As the restaurant is nestled in a small shopping plaza, note that take out is preferred. Lines, tables, and restaurant does get full, but so will your stomach with the portions. Assume every main course can feed 2-3.
Pad Thai is excellent, with a flavorful tamarind and lovely texture with seasonings. Oxtail Pho was aromatic and delicate, with room to spare for sauces.
The tempura green beans were cooked well and crunchy. The pot stickers came steamed, in a soup-dumpling sauce, which tasted great as well.

Extremely excellent food. I highly recommend getting the beef udon. It was very good. The milk tea is also exquisite, but overall the orange chicken is probably the best at this restaurant. Can’t recommend it enough. You have to try this while you’re on your trip. Five stars. Would recommend.

Excellent. I usually don’t give out 5 stars but this place did deserve it. The broth was rich and the depth of flavor was superb. We also had a variety of milk teas and Shrimp Tempura Udon. Spring Rolls and beef potstickers were very well done and tasty. Chicken pad Thai was average. Not great and not bad. Staff was friendly and helpful and food came out quickly. Restaurant was full of locals.
They do add a 15% service charge to the bill after you. They should be more transparent about that.

The food is excellent and the portions are huge. We absolutely loved the beef rib pho—rich, flavorful broth with very tender meat. The oxtail kimchi fried rice was another standout, packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Service was solid and attentive, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion size. Definitely a place we’ll come back to.
