Never had a bad experience here whether it was tourist season or winter. Great options for breakfast and brunch foods, and a good dinner at decent pricing compared to other places downtown. The staff has always been pleasant and not overbearing, even if it’s a slow morning. Brunch mimosas are generous for the price! It can get pretty busy at times (usually dinner), but the atmosphere is very sports bar-like and fun.

Located inside the Ramada Inn, TK Maguire’s fits squarely into the traditional American diner category, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Unlike many modern diners that run an all-day menu, they keep to set time periods for each service, so plan your visit accordingly.
The menu offers plenty of variety, making it easy for most diners to find something that fits the mood. I opted for the halibut fish and chips, subbing chowder in place of fries. Portions are definitely generous, and the halibut itself tasted fresh, which was a positive.
Where things slipped was in the execution. The breading on the fish came out doughy and heavy rather than crisp and light. Unfortunately, the chowder I ordered never made it to the table, which was a miss that took some shine off the experience.
Service was friendly in tone but inconsistent in follow-through. Not bad, but not particularly polished either.
Bottom line: A convenient, classic hotel diner with big portions and broad appeal, but execution can be hit or miss. Worth a try if you are nearby, though I would personally steer away from the fish and chips if what I got was the norm.

Would recommend, great attentive server, delicious food, beautiful views of the water. Ordered Halibut burger, big portion only ate half. Nachos and fish and chips. Again big portions couldn’t eat all of it. Server was friendly and attentive made sure we didn’t want for anything.

We were asked to sit anywhere, but then no one came around for another 10 min. The younger wait staff seems hesitant in serving us, finally the one who could be the manager came around and took our orders, dont get me wrong, they were all very polite, but not super attentive. Anyways, the Halibut and chips was OK, super thick and heavy batter, but good flavor. The burger was great, a bit overcooked, but blue cheese and bacon saved it. We also ordered a side salad, they brought us a cesar salad instead, we didn’t send it back since we also like Cesar salad.

Made a reservation for 8 for dinner tonight. Looked at the menu on the website. Once we got to the restaurant the menu price was higher than the menu on their website. We asked if they would honor their website prices and was told by the manager no. She said anyone could post that menu. We tried to explain that it was not anyone posting it. It was their own posting in their website. We ended up leaving and eating at the Hangar. We had a great dinner at the Hangar! And a better view!

Always an excellent place to eat, the service is fantastic, and the view is great any time of year – I even enjoy it during cruise season. The food is why you go, the atmosphere is why you stay a while.

Beautiful view of the water and mountains while you enjoy a delicious, diner style meal. I enjoyed their chowder, salad, and breakfasts every morning. Staff is very friendly. The beer selection is also good, including many local brews. I’d stay in Ramada on every trip, only because I can enjoy this restaurant.
