A rare 5-star across the board rating. TJ’s offers a unique, high-quality product at a reasonable price. The location is suitable for eat-in, but the real experience is to take home their beautifully prepared, uncooked, pizzas. Service is super friendly on pick-up. The pizza is 100x better than frozen and also better than most delivery pizza (if you don’t live in NY or New Haven). We order one night each time we visit Hilton Head.

So good – some of the best flavor I’ve ever had in a pizza, and we’re from Buffalo, NY so we eat a lot of pizza! We got TJ’s Favorite while here on vacation and liked it so much we had it a second time before we left. Service was quick and friendly and they made the pizza with a few just cheese slices for the kids. I did not use my reading skills so didn’t realize the first time that it was “take and bake,” not cooked pizza – but seriously folks, it’s in the name. My first experience with a take and bake place – 10/10 would get again, I’m going to be dreaming about this pizza.

We were treated with such kindness! I emailed ahead of time about getting a pizza that was safe for my kid with a severe tree nut allergy. We showed up the next day, not realizing it was 20 min before closing time. We were tired from a full day of traveling and just needed something that wasn’t fast food. When Bill recognized that I had emailed him about the allergy, he went out of his way to make us a pizza, even though he was backed up with orders. We were truly grateful for the compassion! The pizza ended up being *fantastic*. Can’t wait to get another pizza from TJ’s!

TJ’s never disappoints. I have made the mistake of ordering from chains store while on the island before, only to get a costly mess. However when I go to TJ’s for pizza its always consistent and delicious. The staff there is also friendly and helpful, and provide a great atmosphere and pleasant experience. Now TJ’s will be my go to stop for lunch.

Their main business is take ans bake pizzas, but they do slices at lunch time. They also have salads and wraps. All of the food is great quality. The star of the show is the manager/cook. He’s got the greatest personality and really knows the menu. He makes great suggestions for pies if people ask for recommendations.

The pizzas were so good! We got 3 to share among 8 people, and nothing was left! We accidentally put one pizza to take home and bake, while the other two to bake there. The staff assumed we meant to put all of them as bake there, which was so great of them! Fantastic customer service. We will definitely be back on our next trip to HHI.
