A good local steakhouse. It was not too busy so it was nice for a date with the Missus. We shared a prime rib and the TJ Steakhouse Chicken. Bothe were good. I will say the BBQ sauce on the chicken was sweeter than I prefer but the bacon and mushrooms made up for it. We’ll be back!

On a job in nearby Richmond and hotel staff recommended this place.
Nice little neighborhood establishment with a friendly atmosphere. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Waitress was friendly and took our drink orders. Came back in a reasonable time frame to take our food orders.
Prices are reasonable for most of the menu however the steaks can be a little pricey.
Food was very good.
Will definitely be returning in the near future.

For being a place that just opened about three weeks ago, everything I’ve had so far has been good. I wouldn’t change a thing. I know they are trying out different things on the menu. Try to figure out what is right for them. I wish them the best of luck, and if you do go there, get the steak. It is delicious, but if you’re not in the mood for a steak, the Reuben is good, and if you go at lunchtime, the pizza burger is good. disregard all the reviews that are from the past couple years because this place only opened three weeks ago.

Was looking for a restaurant along our route while traveling and saw TJ’s and this place was so great! It was a cozy and intimate place for a Saturday night. Our waitress Courtney was super friendly and the owner came out to greet us and chat with us. Our food came out cooked as expected (my boyfriend and I got the sirloin and our friend got the salmon) and everything was seasoned well. The prices are also super fair at least in my opinion and what I’m used to paying for steaks. Portions were decent as well. Not sure when we’ll be in the area again, but if I definitely come back and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who stumbles through New Paris!

My wife and I stopped here on a Friday night with a couple friends. Place was about 75% full. We were greeted at the door and seated quickly. Beer was cold and appetizers really good ( pretzel bites and cheesesticks). We all ordered sandwiches or fish. We were served quickly. Food was pretty good. No complaints. Waitress was nice and attentive. Will stop again soon and try a steak some evening.

There were a couple “locals” there having a loud belching contest behind us and they were all pretty lit. Kinda’ childish but whatever. We still had a good time with friends.

Wife and I had never been as we just moved to area and went to see the antique shops in New Paris! What a fantastic find this was! Great service, clean and quaint facility and our Ribeyes were PERFECT (wife medium mine medium rare). Sides salad, loaded baked potato and cheesy hash browns were all excellent and our waitress was wonderful! Highly recommend! Jan 10th 2026 was our visit.

Such a cute little place on our way to Indianapolis. The owner greeted us as we walked in, took our drink order, and chatted with us a bit. He even gave us food recommendations, the brussels sprouts and the chicken alfredo. Order them. You won’t be disappointed. Definitely worth making the 1.5 hr drive to come whenever we’re in Indy.

We have ate here 3 times now and have ordered the filet mignon everytime. All I can say is it’s one of the best steaks I have ever had. They get their meat straight from the butcher and it’s been excellent time and time again. I highly recommend eating here if you haven’t. You don’t know what your missing out on until you try this place. We will be back. The owner is very nice and comes out and talks to the patrons.

Took my father here for his birthday lunch. Is a place he had heard was pretty good and had good reviews. The atmosphere isn’t bad at all. But the food was not worth the money. (Also Note: If your establishment has Steak House in the name, you should serve steak in the afternoon, not just the evening).

The cheese fries were okay-ish but wasn’t anything special and pretty bland. The fries are definitely just some frozen brand. Both of us got the Cheddar Cheese Burger and it was alright for me – not worth $15.00 or whatever it was. My father was not impressed though. Only things we liked was the music and the bathroom was clean. This isn’t somewhere we plan on going back to.

The staff is friendly and attentive. Our order was taken quickly with our drinks and food being served in a timely manner.
The food is okay. It was the correct temperature. The onion straps are amazing. The baked potato appeared to have been sitting for a bit.
The A/C was out but there were fans moving the air.
