So, I went to this restaurant with a group who had chosen it. Obviously they frequent this location because they chose it for our New Year’s Day lunch.
The vegetables were sweet and obviously canned/frozen. The pasta sauce was watery and bland.
The major issue was with the bad attitude of the manager on duty. Her face showed that she was unhappy we were dining there. Given that the restaurant was manly empty except for our large group and a handful of other tables, I don’t know why she wouldn’t be happy we were giving her and the servers revenue for the business.
Anyway, the main thing that blew my mind was the super rude signage in the restroom. For a tiny bathroom, with only one working stall. Why does there need to be 4 signs?

We stopped because they had good reviews.. their food was bland and lacked creativity. The breakfast potatoes tasted like they were freezer burnt or the oil was old they used to fry them with. The waitress was very nice but the food sucked. You would be better off stopping at Chickfila or McDonald’s. It would have been cheaper and the food was have tasted better. I am all about supporting small/local business but it makes it hard when the food isn’t good.

Great place for comfort food. Prices are reasonable. When my father was alive I took him there all the time. He was disabled and there was one plus boy who had worked there for 20 year that would keep an eye on him when I had to use the bathroom. This place will always hold a special place in my heart because the people there are wonderful.

Food was average. Looked forward to the trout. Very disappointed. Not seasoned. Bland. Person in our party of 4 had the fried chicken. He raved how great tasting it is. So be selective when ordering. Chicken fried steak and potato was ok.

I’ve been to TJ’s five or six times in the past three years. The service is always friendly and about as quick as one might expect for a Friday at lunchtime. The food has always been really good as well. Today was the first time I was a little disappointed in it, though. I normally get a chicken dish but today I ordered the cheeseburger. It was rather bland. Even with pepper jack cheese, it had very little flavor. Disappointing, but like I say, everything else I’ve ever had there was very good.

This place has wonderful food! I’m a little mad at them because theyre the best Fettuccine Alfredo I’ve ever had and has ruined it for anywhere else! They just recently changed the menu and added a bunch of South American dishes which are great!

Great find! Local digs with terrific service. TJ’s has traditional American fare that’s been perfected through many years of practice. The restaurant offers a warm, and very clean, family-friendly atmosphere that makes any meal feel cozy. I will definitely come back when I am in the area! Augie’s was super helpful and made great recommendations! Thanks again!
