Listen!! I had to stop eating my food to write this review! That’s how great my mini curry chicken platter is!! Like I always see a line and/or people standing outside, going in and coming out, but I don’t eat a lot of ethnic foods because of the parts of the meat that they use. I decided to hit them up today and get the curry shrimp, but they were sold out, I imagine, based on the fact that they open around 1130am and people are ALWAYS already outside waiting, that they’d run out of the really good stuff early! I expressed that I don’t really like thigh meat and would prefer a drumstick/mostly white meat/no fat, etc and she delivered! The food is delish!! Not too spicy!! Great portion!! I am very pleased that I can enjoy my food!! Thank you!!!

My favorite Jamaican spot in Wilmington. Food is always fresh, taste amazing, and portions are generous. Wait is usually about 5-10mins when I go around lunch time. Only downside is that some menu items sell out. Highly recommend.

They are always very nice and patient with me when I come here. My two favorite items are the jerk alfredo and the pepper steak. They have the best Jamaican food in Wilmington.

Food was good…Portion was generous. It was my first time. I tried the Curry Goat Meal and Jamaican Patty! The food was 5 stars! I just wish someone would have answered the phone. I tried to call ahead from my car because there was no available parking. I had to wait a long time for a space to open up. I was about to give up. I am new to Delaware and wanted to really try it out since the reviews were good.

Oldies But Goodies
I’ve been here 3x for Oxtails & each time they said they were sold out. They open at 11am, I got there at 12pm the 1st time and the following times it was roughly 11:30am and each time they “sold out”.

They have a handwritten menu in the wall with item crossed off limiting their menu to just 3 options. Why put things on the menu that you don’t have. It was too early to be sold out.

Their business hours are false. Sometimes they’re open & sometimes they’re not. That’s bad for people who are on lunch break. I drove all the way there for nothing. I’m done!

No parking and bad customer service. The woman was not nice or professional at all.

Best Jamaican food in Wilmington, hands down! Reasonably priced, but give yourself some extra time as the wait is sometimes long. Well worth it. Something as simple as white rice is so good here! Food is fresh. Best around!

We order here from work sometimes. The curry shrimp, plantains and rice and beans are excellent. I always get the oxtail for my husband and he says it’s great. We often try to call in the order first because they are so busy but often they don’t even answer.
