Great local breakfast and lunch spot! I’ve tried both menus and everything was delicious. The chilaquiles were fantastic, and the patty melt was equally impressive. The oatmeal shake is freaking addictive. The atmosphere is welcoming and very clean, and the staff is friendly and attentive. A must-try spot.

We went here to celebrate my birthday and Valentine’s Day. My boyfriend had never had green chilaquiles before and he absolutely fell in love. The juices were so refreshing and fresh too! We cannot wait to come back.

HONEST REVIEW- we reviewed everyone’s reviews here and we’re excited to try this out. I think what’s happening is it’s garnished the following and now they are hitting capacity

It doesn’t mean that the food is bad, but there doesn’t seem to be any management that can handle this type of capacity

Today for example obviously a Saturday there was a line we were the first to arrive. There were three girls in front of us and we sat for 45 minutes and nobody checked us in. They sat the three girls down in a Long family style table but yet we’re a family of five and we had to wait for an additional 30 minutes and had to split up our family between two tables when the long family style table sat half empty. That’s poor management. While we were waiting for close to an hour, we talked to a lot of regular locals that said the same thing that used to be a standby place but it’s lacking any form of management.

I’m extremely disappointed with us and we will not come here again at all. It was not worth it. As far as the food itself, I’d say it’s pretty good diner type food Mexican diner. Coffee is not good. They don’t have real half-and-half. It’s the packaged type from Kraft I think it’s basically a local hole in the wall that has gained recognition and now they just have capacity so the food has gone downhill and so has the whole experience just my two cents.

I run a couple businesses so I understand management is tough but if you have four servers and nobody greets anybody at the door for 45 minutes, that’s just poor customer service… and then the lack of wherewithal to not use the tables profitably

I am obsessed with their juices especially vampire juice. I also had chilaquiles with steak and it was delicious!

As a Mexican cafe, I expected more flavor from the food, specifically the chilaquiles and the grilled chicken sandwich. The chilaquiles sauce was alright but lacked flavor and spice. The “grilled” chicken was in fact not grilled but boiled and had no flavor. The water on the table was cloudy and has something in it (we assumed squeezed lemon) but was just regular water. The service was okay, getting checked in on. The atmosphere was lively as it was very busy.

Our food was great, we were served water & coffee & was never checked on again until we asked for our food which took more than 30 mins to come out. Never was asked if needed more coffee or anything. But after food was served then was checked on but was a little annoyed by then. Love the outside seating offered, was a beautiful afternoon to sit outside

This place is incredible. Everything is fresh. Juices are amazing. They make their own chicken-fried steak. Their hash is fantastic. Sandra, and Teresa, the owner, are both wonderful. You can’t go wrong. The steak and eggs is wonderful. Support local restaurants.

Delicious meal, generous portions, and reasonable prices in a no-frills storefront. The staff was busy but wait times were never unreasonable. Repeat complementary coffee refills and generous juice portions. The chilaquiles were amazing and I appreciate having the option on how you’d like your eggs prepared. I recommend getting them with the steak ($18 and worth it), but our table also loved them with chorizo.

Would absolutely recommend this place to others and will be back myself. There was a line of people waiting for tables the whole time we were there so the people know!

It has been many years since I’ve been to this restaurant but I decided to go back since a friend was visiting from another part of the city.

The food was absolutely stellar with the poached eggs being done to perfection and everything highly seasoned. Usually poached eggs come out very watery so I was extremely impressed.

They also gave me a little sample of the smoothie my friend had which was 100% juice. Absolutely delicious.

The staff were extremely inviting and you could tell that they took a lot of pride in the restaurant and the food it provides. For the quality and the amount of food you get, the price is extremely reasonable especially for the area.

I haven’t had their signature oatmeal shake in a long time and didn’t get it this time around either. But I’ll need to come back and try it again. I remember it being quite the treat.
