I ordered the big breakfast, and it was very delicious. There are options for hash browns or home fries. The pancake was moist and flavorful. The food was served quickly. If you enjoy diner food and a classic atmosphere, this is a must-try place.

Just had the best waffle ever! The one with the berries and banana and whipped cream. Waffle had that perfect waffle taste, was a little crisp on the outside but soft on the inside. The berries were very fresh, the whipped cream was real. I ordered a side bacon and coffee (very good coffee) and cleaned my plate! Place seems to be a local meetup place for retirees, and had a neighborhood feel. Good place to grab food if you have to come to Mary Washington Medical Center for something.

Tito’s has been crowned my new favorite place for breakfast, FAR superior to CB. Just saying. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Our server, Doris, was fantastic and I love the ambience.

I have never experienced such abysmal service at a restaurant before. From start to finish, it was a complete failure on every front. I was forgotten about for the majority of my visit—never checked in on—and when I finally received my food, it was completely wrong and showed zero consideration for my request (which was for crispy bacon). To make matters worse, the bacon was severely undercooked, which is unacceptable even at the lowest standard diner.

As for the coffee, I asked if they had flavored coffee. Instead of bringing flavored coffee, the server returned with a small plastic cup of hazelnut syrup for me to add myself. That would have been acceptable if I had ever received a refill on my coffee during the entire hour I spent at this poor excuse for a diner—but I never did.

I eventually brought these issues to the attention of the manager (Jay), who profusely apologized and assured me that I would be “taken care of.” That reassurance turned out to be hollow. Instead of making things right, I was given a mere 10% discount—on a meal I didn’t even fully receive and without a single follow-up from any staff member. This is a pathetic attempt at customer recovery and falls far below what any reasonable patron should expect.

The only positive thing I can say is that the restaurant still looks like a 1950s diner. Unfortunately, that retro aesthetic is all it has left. Everything else—service, food quality, and accountability—has completely collapsed. This was my last visit, and I strongly recommend that everyone stay far away from this place.

If you want good food, attentive service, and an overall excellent experience, go to Metro Diner. No other place in Fredericksburg delivers the same level of quality and value for your money, hands down.

Retro themed and feels homey too. Food was good, no to little wait for a seat and the food. Prices were decent too.
Only thing is that the server was a bit off, and took my husbands plate before he was finished like he still had food on it, just because I had paid the check, but I hadn’t filled it out yet, so…? And she wasn’t very talkative, she didn’t even ask if we were done, just very odd experience.
It was our first time at this establishment, so it probably will be some time before we come back.

Tito’s Diner is everything a classic American diner should be—welcoming, nostalgic, and absolutely delicious. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with retro charm and warm hospitality that makes you feel like a regular, even on your first visit.
The menu is stacked with comfort food favorites, and every dish is made with care. Whether you’re diving into their fluffy pancakes, savoring a juicy burger, or indulging in one of their signature milkshakes, the quality and flavor are consistently top-notch. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the service is fast and friendly.
What really sets Tito’s apart is the atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where families gather, friends catch up, and locals proudly bring out-of-town guests. The decor is a throwback to the golden age of diners, and it adds a fun, upbeat vibe to every meal.
If you’re in Fredericksburg and craving a hearty breakfast, a satisfying lunch, or just a great place to relax over coffee, Tito’s Diner is a must-visit. It’s not just a meal—it’s an experience.

I haven’t eaten at Tito’s in years and we decided to go this past Father’s Day. I would’ve normally have chosen Metro or 2400 diner but my mom really wanted to go there.

We ordered as follows:

Steak and Cheese
Pancake Breakfast
French Toast Breakfast
Fettuccine Alfredo
Fried Shrimp Platter
Mozzarella Sticks

I’m going to start with the good … The shrimp were huge and perfectly fried. The table really enjoyed them. The Fettuccine Alfredo was delicious and packed A LOT of flavor. However the only downside was that they put mushrooms, peppers, and spinach in it. Which I don’t believe the menu stated and could cause some issues if you aren’t expecting it. BUT I liked it.

The bad …
The Mozzarella Sticks were the normal large frozen ones, which are my least favorite. I prefer the smaller long ones that have seasoning in the breading. We had to send back the French Toast not once, BUT TWICE due to hair being on them. The steak and cheese was dry and they mixed up the two orders we placed. One was supposed to be completely plain and one with condiments and fixings. I believe they were understaffed which is normal for the industry right now but we had to continue to remind our server of the extras we still needed to attempt to enjoy our meal.

Kelly our server did her best and was very pleasant. They gave us 10% off our bill and took the French toast completely off for the experience.

My wife and I got there 10am on a Saturday. The place was busy but the staff handled it well. We were seated quickly and cordially. Our waitress took our order quickly and served us with hot delicious food shortly thereafter. We had a very positive experience there.

Classic 50’s diner theme that doesn’t disappoint. Fast service with standard breakfast and lunch items in the menu typically seen with a short order cook. I ordered the Belgian waffle with scrambled eggs and bacon.

This place was absolutely the perfect stop for dinner! Plenty to choose from! The waiters are all polite and very well mannered! The bathrooms are very clean! The Spicy burger was the best, juiciest, flavorful burger I have had in a long time! The onion rings were cooked to perfection! No one had any left overs! You are missing out if you haven’t ate here yet! I wish we lived closer, it would be my go to place!
