Handmade tortillas, taco bar chose your own topping style, friendly family vibes and cool paintings on the wall. I Tried the carne asada, barbacoa, and chorizo eggs topping. Salsas were good. Very friendly staff vibes.

I love a great Taco spot! Anytime I head back home to visit family from Houston to Galveston.. I have to get my taco fix.

At Titas – All tortillas are made fresh.. Flour & corn.. You ring the bell and hold up your hand, showing how many fresh corn tortillas you want, they make them while you wait in line.. They have them ready by the time you order your tacos..

Then you pay in the Honor System when you leave..

FYI …. They are closed from December 24th 2025 through January 1st, 2026.

Im from KY was going to load up on tortillas to take back Drove from downtown Houston and they re closed. Thought would post hope people would see they are closed. Google Maps shows they are open and they are not. It is they need a vacation too as they work so hard. Happy Holidays Titas to all the employees you are awesome.

I forgot the golden rule get there EARLY .
EVERTHING is fresh and when it’s gone it’s gone ( I missed out on my fav Carne Asada ) but I still had plenty of other options
But you can’t blame anyone but yourself if you miss out
The homemade tortilla they even have a special bell to inform them that you want corn tortillas that way they can start making them ( flour is pretty popular ) the generous portions and the price point. A must stop

Paid $26 for 7 tacos and 2 cocas. No line so we walked right up then again no idea there was a way for the line.
Workers were friendly. Except the guy who picked up my plate even though I still had food in it and didn’t even give me a chance to say “hey I’m still eating that”.
Tacos- the barbacoa even though they made it “a la mexicana” it lacked flavor. Same for the bacon and egg.
Tortillas def need a bit more cooking.
Doubt I’ll be back.

Stopped here while waiting on my husband to have surgery and I am so glad I did. The line was long but it moved very fast, they were quick to get my tacos. My sister in law had an issue with the ordering process so when the (I’m assuming) owner, Jose Luis came by to ask if we needed anything, I explained the issue and he quickly helped her, offered her a taco and apologized. He was super vocal, welcoming and understanding with a hype personality which was nice.

On top of that the food was delicious and the tacos were all flavorful.
The place is clean and there is plenty of seating. Parking is enough but can get packed.

We absolutely enjoyed our time here and plan to come back as well as direct people to try them out!

Really enjoyed the food here barbacoa and chorizo are delicious. Tortillas are handmade and not from a store. The atmosphere is friendly and the let you eat before paying. They welcome you like family and are patient while you make your selections. Price is great too!!

In my personal opinion, this is the best Taco House in Houston. There are some others that definitely serve amazing tacos but the overall environment and friendliness of Titas takes it over the top. When you walk up to the big Blue house and into the front door you are immediately blown away by the amazing art painted on literally every surface of the interior. The line is usually 15+ people deep but it moves quick thanks to the amazing staff behind the serving counter. You’ll hear people converting over their tacos, spatulas tinging on the flat top and voices galore telling the staff what they want on today’s tacos. The owner and his family run Titas with the upmost personal family friendly professional personalities you’ll ever come across. It’s truly a must see Houston treasure nestled near the beautiful town of Old Humble. I’m a daily visitor due to the always changing variety of tacos that never disappoint!

Just picked up a large order of tacos for a work meeting. Ive been going to titas for over 5 years now and today might just ve the last time I go, no only were the portions alot smaller, the fillings were skimpy, and geez there is no flavor in it anymore, like zero flavor, the quality is just gone. Even hot sauce couldn’t even fix it.
