The food was amazing. Very fresh and authentic. Our server was so kind and accommodating. The food does take a bit to come out but it was worth it. Mango juice was soo good.

Tiru has very delicious food! We usually get the meat combo so we can try many dishes. Everything was fresh and tasty. The meat was very tender and flavorful. We also got sambucas and mango juice. Tiru is a great place for a date because you can take your time eating and try new things. The value for the price is also excellent and the people are very nice. I highly recommend Tiru!

Fabulous experience that everyone should try at least once! Ethiopian is quickly becoming one of my favorite types of food. It is so richly flavored & delicious. Fantastic comfort food.
The service here is great. They are kind and are happy you are there. Everything is made fresh, so it may take a little bit, but it is worth it.
We shared the vegetarian combo & the meat combo, so we could try it all. The family feast would be perfect too for sharing to try everything.
Price is well worth it. You leave completely full from a scratch made meal that is pretty healthy for you. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Came for dinner on a Saturday, lovely experience & food! Staff were very friendly & helpful. I wish there was more than 1 veg/vegan option (vegan platter was delicious but $20, more expensive than the other entrées), but the food was so so good. Very flavorful and I enjoyed eating with the teff injera. We were there for almost 2 hours & had a coffee for dessert (very good, strong). Though there aren’t many other things for me to try as a vegetarian, I would go again!

The restaurant is one of the cleanest restaurants you can go to, dont let the outside turn you away. The food is a symphony of flavors, textures, and aromas. The service is a bit slower, but there’s typically only one person working the whole shebang, but the meal youre waiting for is DEFINITELY worth it.

They open at 12pm. I ordered at 1210pm and picked up my food at 1245pm. They were out rice Literally no one in the restaurant knows how to make rice and/or buy some from the many local markets right next door? Poor customer service…especially since this isn’t the first time they’ve mysteriously “ran out” of something when the restaurant opens. Be better prepared. I have 2 stars because the food is okay (but pricey).

We came in expecting a bit of a wait and generally have a lot of patience – but did not expect to wait an entire hour and a half between giving our order and seeing a server or employee at the table again. The dining room was not busy – there were two other tables ahead of us and one who left within about ten minutes of our arrival.
Based on the number of to go orders we saw leaving it appears they’re making that a priority over their in person patrons. They also brought food to a table that came in an hour after us about twenty minutes before finally bringing ours. No glasses of water were offered to us, just bottles of water to purchase.
When the food finally arrived it wasn’t hot, but the flavors were delicious and it was a lot of food. They were apologetic about the wait. When we were halfway through our meal they finally brought our appetizer, which was so odd. They said it was free as a condolence.
The food was delicious but I’m not sure the experience would warrant another visit. I really wanted to love this place. My recommendation is to carry out because it seems that comes with more urgency than food in person does.

Food was excellent. Service was great. The tea is delicious and so was the coffee. You can book a private coffee ceremony. We were a big group (13) and they accommodated us without any problem. This a family owned restaurant with amazing food. Worth the detour.
