Tiquicia was our favorite restaurant during our weekend trip to La Fortuna. Everything was delicious, good portions and great service. The passion fruit juice was the best I’ve had in my life. Ceviche was so fresh that we had to repeat. The chifrijo was good with fried yucca and a gigantic patacón (green plantain). Our mom had a chickpeas with chicken soup and she couldn’t stop eating and she doesn’t eat too much regularly. Our waiter was friendly and was willing to help with questions about how to find some groceries we needed. We wanted to eat every meal there but we also wanted to try other restaurants. But no other was as good as Tiquicia.

Delicious food for a decent price!
Only set back was that I ordered their beef casado, and was offered a different cut of beef, which I accepted without questioning. It ended up costing double the amount of my meal (menu price around 6000, my bill around 12000).

Best Pina colada/smoothies we had in Costa Rica. Well worth stopping in just for those.

A nice place to enjoy traditional Costa Rican food. We ordered Chifrijo, ceviche mixto, and chicken fingers. The food was good. Very close to El Rio de La Fortuna.

I ordered the shrimp and fish with palm heart sauce and was very satisfied with the food.
The shrimp was grilled to perfection, and the fish very soft and tender. The rice may have been salted too much, but otherwise, no other complaints.

This place in La Fortuna was recommended by our tour guide as a place with authentic Costa Rican food. It did not disappoint! Having a late lunch, we had the ceviché and chicharrones with wonderful, delicious sauces (the mixed Mayonnaise-based sauce is incredible and goes with fried foods, such as the chicharrones and tortilla chips, and try it with the civeché).
Washed down with a variety of beer and ales, we left very satisfied. We’ll worth stopping by and enjoying when in La Fortuna.

Our group of 9 ate here on our last night in La Fortuna and we all absolutely loved it! The food was delicious and the prices were amazing! We all got full entrees with 3 or 4 appetizers for the group as well as sodas for all and the total came to $140. This was a great deal compared to many other places we ate in Costa Rica. Highly recommend!

The food here is wonderful. Because its some of the best food dinner can get busy and service a little slow but everyone is friendly, helpful and the food is worth the wait. Tiquicia is an open air restaurant- which was lovely for our visit but something to keep in mind. Order the flaming pineapple. Everything we had was fantastic but this desert is next level.

Delicious! They have so many great options for Costa Rican cuisine and the prices are good as well. Very happy we came here. I really recommend the loin strips with the sweet plantain, corn, and papaya hash.
