We had a great lunch time meal and live entertainment experience here! The house band’s music spills outside, filling Bourbon Street with traditional hot jazz, which encouraged us to pay a visit here. We chose a table that afforded a great view of both the band and the street for people watching. We ordered a salad with blackened catfish to share. The portion was sizable and delicious. Our server was friendly and helpful with guiding us through the menu.
Musicianship was top notch. I tipped the band and requested a song, “Do You Know What it Means to Miss New Orleans”. They played the song beautifully. Definitely worth another visit soon!

We stopped for lunch. Ro, the server helped us pick out food. We went with the sampler platter. Plus we had the free gumbo. Everything was delicious! It was more than enough for us to share. The restaurant was pretty empty. Maybe 2 other tables taken. It looked fun.

Dreadful food. Ridiculously Expensive. OK atmosphere. So my friend and I went here after looking at Google reviews, and we’d just got to New Orleans and wanted to get some jambalaya. Well, what we were served can only be described as Uncle Ben’s Rice, with dry chicken under it, vinegar greens, and a bread roll that could be used as a cannonball. It was gross. And for 2 of them, a diet coke, and one cocktail, we were charged $86 in total! Absolutely absurd. Do not go here for food. Just don’t. In contrast, *I* made myself some jambalaya – bearing in mind I’m British, and have never made jambalaya before, I couldn’t be further from someone who is capable of making traditional jambalaya. WELL… the photos attached speak for themselves. My first time jambalaya absolutely destroys what we were served at the shitty trumpet. Also, the staff who served us didn’t seem to want to bother serving us. The atmosphere of the bar, the live music, and the people was ok.

Stopped by for a late dinner and grabbed some Jambalaya while being entertained with live music. It was cold outside (Feb) which caused the food to cool off too fast. The service was good and entertainment was great!

Fun vibe, live music, clever pianist who welcomed people as they entered and took requests for tunes.
Food was okay (I didn’t much like the menu, but Husband enjoyed his food).
Service was relaxed.
Everything seemed clean.

We have been passing by this restaurant going to/ coming from a different restaurant-bar farther down the street, and decided to try it last night. What attracted us from the street was the music. It’s combination of soul, R&B and soft rock, which we all like very much and did not disappoint. We came in for drinks and dessert so can’t say anything much about the food. The drinks were ok, nothing exceptional but we were concerned that the hands holding our ice, lemon and ganishings were the same handling money bills, unwashed in between. Unsanitary.
The bands we chanced on were good, didn’t get the first band’s name but the next one was In-and-Out band. We may go back just for the band! Lol.

Walked in after walking Bourbon Street. They had a late night for menu. Our server Nicole was great and it happened to be her birthday! The live band was amazing too!

I enjoyed Sam Joyner playing the piano and singing a variety of music from the 50s through the 90s. He’s so talented! Also enjoyed Street Lyfe band. They are all so talented!

The music, ambiance, and especially the service are wonderful. The food is good, too. It’s a warm and welcoming place where you arrive happy and leave even happier.
