Tipsy Putt in South Lake Tahoe is a hyper-local mini golf experience featuring craft beer and casual Mexican fare. Designed with adults in mind, Tipsy Putt welcomes all ages until the evening hours. In addition to interactive games, the pub caters to team building events, birthday parties or friendly gatherings. Tipsy Putt encourages its guests to look up from their phones and engage with each other in some old school, analog fun. Whatever brings you in: first date, delicious beer, team building event, adult birthday party, watching sports, happy hour, or to challenge your friends at a game, our goal is to provide a place where everyone feels welcome to relax and have a great time. The good: Lovely service and beautiful decor. The bar is excellent, with lots of draft beers and cozy hot cocktails that suit the weather. My husband absolutely loved his Chicken Tikka tacos.
The not-so-good: While the vegetarian dishes were fresh, they lacked flavor. We tried the quesadilla, burrito, and tacos—nice to see garbanzo-bean options and generous portions, but they’d benefit from more robust, flavorful sauces.

We had an absolute blast at this location! It is a great atmosphere to spend time, and the mini golf and 1-2 putt are so much fun to play! We played a few times!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed being able to play corn hole outside. We will definitely be back!

Really fun atmosphere and great idea for an indoor entertainment space. We needed something to do between restaurant plans, so we purchased the All You Can Putt pass which allowed us to come and go throughout the day as long as we kept the wristband on.
The 1-2 Putt is a table shuffleboard-esque game where you use a paddle at waist height to try to land your ball in the area of the table with the highest point value. This game is super fun and fast so it’s very repeatable. The mini golf is also fun, but it’s (in my opinion) much more frustrating than 1-2 Putt.
The bar and eating area is large, so there’s space to accommodate a lot of parties with food/drinks. There is one mini-golf course (9 holes) and one 1-2 Putt course (9 holes) so I could see the games getting backed up at a busier time.

This place was so fun. Went for date night and the staff was so helpful and friendly, the games were fun and the beer was tasty. We didn’t eat, but the smells coming from the kitchen were tempting. Definitely recommended.

Owner is a phenomenal person who provided a great experience to my wife and I on our honeymoon! The course was well paced and fun, the side “1-2 Putt” game was also surprisingly fun and provided a great challenge to us! Couldn’t recommend this place more to anyone local or visiting South Tahoe.

We had so much fun at this place. The cocktails were great. We’d never seen table golf but it was lots of fun and after we played regular putt putt. The golfing space is a little small but everyone that works there was super friendly. We found this place via Groupon. It’s very underrated.

We loved this place!! We went with 4 girls. We did the Saturday special of bottomless mimosas & endless games. It was so fun! Mini golf was fun but we loved the duffleboard the most! Staff was great! Atmosphere was so fun! I’m sure this place gets pretty busy at nights. Food was really good but expensive! So be prepared for those prices. Overall a really fun place! Highly recommended!!!!

Such a fun and unique place! All of the staff we met were super friendly. I love that they have so many LOCAL beers on tap. They have mini golf and their own one of a kind game called Duffleboard which is like a cross between mini golf and shuffleboard. (I totally won against my husband.)

Had been wanting to visit for so long ever since seeing them on social media. Seems like a cool concept. My issue was with the number of people and the drinks.
It was so busy and there were so many groups that my wife and I played a single hole of the mini golf and gave up. That was disappointing.
Food was fine, drinks were not. I ordered a “mulligan mule” and was surprised when the bartender poured it from the tap – the drinks are premixed. I also ordered a lemon drop for my wife. It was the worst tasting mule I had ever had and thankfully the bartender traded it for a Diet Coke. I had only had a sip and spit it back out. The lemon drop was equally terrible. So, $40 for a Diet Coke.
I went back to get another Diet Coke and gave up as the bartenders were interested in talking to people so I gave up and walked to my hotel to get a drink. 1/10. Definitely a skip.
