Classic spot, decorations haven’t been updated since the 80s, but the recipes are good and the service is great. Classic Mexican American tacos and enchiladas with a great price. This is the last OG tippys tacos left as the one that is at another location has changed names and ownership.

My wife loves their tacos but I’ve never been until today.
This place is so cute! Just basic decor and no frills food at a decent price. It was also super clean.
We split the Acapulco dinner which included three ground beef tacos. We also got a side of queso.
You place your order at the counter and then they bring it to your table. Service was pleasant enough.
Tacos were basic, but tasty. The shells were the crunchy kind you find in grocery stores. The queso was good, and came with tostadas.
Like I said, no frills food at a price you can live with. I’m sure I’ll go back and this time maybe I’ll try the chicken enchilada.

Tippy’s is ok.
I enjoyed the taco salad a lot , Ive always loved my taco salads with ground beef. It’s a pretty decent size too and the edible bowl is good and crunchy, has a nice fried taste to it. The taco meat was also plenty & seasoned well, but beans didn’t have much flavor not bad but not wow either
They didn’t skimp on the chicken in my hard chicken taco, but the chicken did lack a bit of flavor and was a bit salty. it arrived whole and didn’t fall apart nor was it soggy. The veggies were fresh & crisp too. Once I added some of my own favorite mango hot sauce to it, it was even better.
The California burrito wasn’t my favorite, the sauce wasn’t for me, and rice just was salty and beans and meat were the same as in the taco salad. Im also not a fan of their, what seems to be store bought Guac!
Since they only use ground beef or chicken here I’m guessing most to all things will be pretty similar. As others have said, it’s far from authentic Mex food. Think of it as Taco Bell’s older sibling.
Would I get it again, yes! Definitely as quick fast eats, also Their very reasonable priced. The taste in comparison to other fast food places, including quality and price range makes Tippy’s worth a visit. 2.5 Stars for me!

This is our first time to try this restaurant, and we like it so much!
First, I have to say that I don’t eat Pork, and their menu is pork free! Which is so almost impossible to find!
In addition, the place is clean, smells good, with good lighting, and cozy ambiance!
Also, the staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
Finally, which is the most important, the food is fresh, tastes good, and looks good too!
As first timers, we ordered chicken soft tacos, Mexican pizza, and curly fries.
The food came in a good time.⏱
After trying the food, now we want to experience more items on the menu!
One more thing, the prices are reasonable. I took photos of the menu for you to see and judge yourself.
I recommend this Mexican restaurant for those who look for good Mexican flavors with reasonable prices, and pork free!

I really can’t speak for the food as we unfortunately were not able to sit and try it out. They close at 9pm, so make sure to be at least an hour early! Or you will be told that you MUST be out by 9pm or take it to go. Rude approach, we’ve never been asked to leave a restaurant, and this explain why it was empty on a Saturday night. We drove to it as it had been recommended to us, but never again, so disappointing.

5/5, April 2021. This is what a Mexican restaurant should be. It’s been ages since I had visited here and I’m really glad we made it back. Tippy’s is nothing fancy and I mean that as the highest form of compliment. The food is just excellent well done eating without all the overwrought complications that many Mexican places use to justify bloated prices. I had Tacos and queso both were excellent. The Tacos were meat, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes which was perfectly balanced. I tried them with and without the Taco sauce and while I think the Taco sauce is a great addition you really can’t go wrong either way.
The queso was as good or better than any we’ve had in the area. My wife had a bean burrito and guacamole both of which were great.
When you add in the great value of Tippy’s I don’t think you can do any better. And the food came out quick and was hot and fresh. I highly recommend it. Next time you’re thinking about stopping by the trendy fast casual taco/burrito place do yourself a huge favor and go to Tippy’s instead.

Honestly you don’t even provide sauce on your taco salad? I ordered a taco salad and two hard tacos and they didn’t provide ANY sauce or salsa so they were all DRY. Who doesn’t provide sauce for taco salad and tacos???

Ordered 4 crunch beef tacos and 3 soft tacos. I demolished the 4 crunchy tacos.but was still hungry after. The tacos were a good price it taste like a better version of Taco Bell. Still a 5 star service good and quick. Don’t expect anything fancy or authentic they use good ol American cheese slices.
