We didn’t know about this gem. This place is great! We were looking for a sit down restaurant that allowed kids under 21. Glad we stopped in! The food was incredible. The girl that took care of our table was exceptional. Very attentive to everyone and everything at the table. I wish I would have caught her name but didn’t; we are glad that she came back to work here!

Was able to try their pizza once, and wasn’t satisfied at all. Attempted two other time’s to order online other food, and was charged and left hungry. The first time they didn’t have a driver or the sandwich I wanted. The second time I called to confirm there was a driver before ordering, and was told yes. Minutes later I was called after order and said sorry we don’t have a driver LOL. Weeks later I’m still waiting for my refund. I would avoid!!

We have lived in Winamac since August and just now tried this place and in my opinion, this place is such a hidden gem amongst the small towns in Indiana. Our waitress, Annabella, was on top of it the entire time and super friendly. The pizza was soooo good! Hot and fresh! The atmosphere was perfect, music was perfect volume, the decor and lighting is cozy, and it felt/looked clean! We will be returning every chance we get!

We have now had Tippys 5 times. Lastnight we ordered 4 pizzas. We had 6 kids and 4 adults. NO ONE liked the pizza. We ended up with stomach aches. Ready to vomit. Each time we ordered over the years since they opened. Wanted to give them a fair chance. Still nasty. Crust wasn’t all way cooked, and what was tasted like cardboard. Sauce very bland. I’m guessing most people go for the bar not the food.

Absolutely horrible experience. I will not ever go back. EVER. I buy lunch every single day that I work. I work twelve hour shifts. I eat once a day. I placed an order at tippys online for Mac and cheese bites, pulled pork sandwich and cookie skillet. They call me immediately “we don’t have pulled pork sandwich and we don’t do delivery” okay I said “can I get a baked potato instead?” “No we don’t have that either” I said “okay refund me for the pulled pork sandwich.” I walk from the jail where I work to tippys to get the rest of my food. The girl goes “oh I refunded the entire order.” “You will have to replace an order” I said “you already have my money, how am I suppose to pay for this, the refund isn’t even in my bank yet?” She goes “you’re good, sit down you’re good.” I sit down for twenty minutes, she comes back over and stated she never refunded my order, Sheila has to refund it whenever Sheila comes in and that I need to pay once again. Therefore I paid once again. Worst experience of my life with a restaurant. Very unprofessional. I honestly will say I spend a lot of money going out to eat, but never will I spend it on this place.

I prefer a bit thicker of a pizza crust and more sauce. The Pretzel sticks were delicious. The cherry bomb pop was refreshing. Loved the bar area very laid back and the restaurant side is open concept loved the place. Our waitress was fabulous. Will be going back and try other menu items. Friendly warm atmosphere must try Tippy’s.

On the way home from a business trip we ran across this really nice pizza/sandwich/salad restaurant/bar. Very welcoming staff and amazing seasonal drinks and beers. We decided to order a ‘fork lift” pizza and a Southwest salad. The service was phenomenal and totally enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. When we were served our food, the salad was very plain and certainly not worth $8.45. There maybe was a cup of lettuce, a spoon full of black beans, corn, and maybe a 1/2 cup of chicken (I requested no tortilla chips topping). The pizza was actually very large and definitely full of meat items we had chosen but not much taste due to barely any sauce or seasoning. The bread sticks, I will say, were very, very delicious. The Service, appetizer, and drinks were excellent, the pizza and salad we ordered not so much. If we travel back thru this area we would certainly stop and request more sauce on our pizza. We may skip the salad, but not the drinks!
