STOOL PIGEON
I usually go early morning so its not too crowded, love the pastelitos, I think these are my favorites from the whole array of restaurants on my way to the train station lol also love the pupusas revueltas (the salsita roja needs a lil work tho), also they had taquitos -similar to Mexican flautas, which were reaaally good!
The girls are super nice and attentive -you can see them working hard making pupusas right in front of you- and this place is always clean (including the restroom)

Chicken tamales are awesome! Called in an order close to closing time and was kindly accommodated even though they were in the process of cleaning up and such (the owner was shucking corn when I came in!). I even added to the order while the initial one was being prepared without being made to feel that I was being problematic. Had a nice convo with the owner about the history of her place. Nice staff, clean facility and good food!

They were pleasant but un attentive. It took a long time to get my food. I had to ask for untensils and napkins when my food arrived. I had 2 tacos whicj were quite tastey I also ordered a slice of cake and it was served on a napkin instead of a plate. They were pleasant but lacked proffesionalism.

The pupusas where not that great. I ordered a ensalada (juice) it was expired all the fruit inside had an acidic taste, took 1 sip straight into the garbage. I would NEVER eat here again.

Absolutely spotless and cheery Salvadoran cuisine. Great typical dishes such as pupusas (with salsa roja and curtido) with a selection of main dishes for lunch and dinner.
Winners of the 2012 ‘Fastest Pupusas’ contest at the ‘Festival de la Pupusa’ in West New York.
