Driving between Palm Springs and Los Angeles? We plan the whole trip around this …
Have a special combo bahn mi at Tip Top Sandwiches in Rosemead. Their fresh spring rolls, pho and Vietnamese coffee are killer too! And never leave without a fresh $3 French baguette.

Visited Tip Top for a sandwhich and coffee. The steak sandwhich was amazing, fresh and delicious. The iced coffee is also strong but sweet, and reasonable prices. Food came out fast, and the workers are always friendly! Plenty of parking when I pulled up, and I world recommend this place if you like fresh food/ coffee, and are in the area.

Got the #7 grilled beef. Pretty good. Had a Vietnamese coffee, I was happy that it didn’t leave me cracked out.
The environment is a bunch old timer Vietnamese gentleman here drinking their coffee and chatting with their homies.
Everyone is nice.
My favorite is the French baguette. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Pho is flavorful. The noodle to meat ratio is off, but still very good. Hits the spot, spirit and soul on a cold rainy Christmas morning. Had a video, Google won’t let me post it. Minus points to you Google guys. Note: came back again, still same ole same ole, so that’s good. I think it’s better to come on on a morning weekday; parking is better and less people.
11/23/22- spoke with an awesome lady staffer about buying bulk food for Thanksgiving tomorrow cuz some of us have to work-welcome to transit bus life. She was super cool; told me that their pate so(?) goes fast since it’s a quick n nice snack. I ordered ahead of time as well as their eggrolls too. Tip top, you’re a life saver!! At least some of us guys that work on Thanksgiving will have something to eat and feel appreciated cuz who doesn’t want to be feel appreciated

DO NO RECOMMEND! Don’t come if you don’t speak Vietnamese. Me and my friends had lunch here on a Saturday. It’s a group of 6. The food is okay, just regular Pho, but not worth the price. Server doesn’t speak English at all. We ordered different noodle soup and pointed on the menu to make sure they understand what we want. However, we all were provided the same dish…They charged us all for large noodle soup though we ordered two small noodle soups. They “gave” us unsweetened tea half way through we are eating. We thought it’s free and thanks them. The tea is tasteless. When we asked for the check, we found that they charged us for the tea surprisingly! And you can’t even reasoning with them because they seem don’t speak English at all.

Ice coffee & fresh bread
Read the negative reviews… Isn’t that bad if you speak to owner there in the morning. She can fix any issues & willing to accommodate.
True that servers doesn’t speak English, but you can ask casher in front; on other side of bread section.
Most Vietnamese’s food must be eaten ASAP for quality & health. It could only sit in room temperature for very short period of time…otherwise, it will taste hard or spoil.

Purchased gỏi cuốn at 2pm. All 3 pieces were super dry like they’ve been sitting there since 6am. Went in to ask for a new replacement order. They refused to give a new replacement order and the woman at the counter had the nerve to tell me that the pieces are dry since they’ve been out there for a long time. She said let her microwave it for me and it will be soft again. I didn’t agree but she went to microwave it and give it back to me. All 3 pieces are still dry and not edible. I am sure this food was kept outside longer than the 4 hours maximum limit allowed under California Health Codes. STAY AWAY from this place unless you want cold leftover food from who know when.

Tuesday 8/27/24 Lunch at Tip Top Sandwich in Rosemead. I was craving for their Banh mi and Vietnamese ice coffee. They make good Banh mi here. Crunchy bread with a good amount of tasty meats, liver spread, pickle carrots and a strong refreshing ice coffee on a warm day. Life is good. It hits the spot.
