Tio Nacho is hands-down one of the best Mexican restaurants in Yonkers! From the moment you walk in, you feel the warm and welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy every detail. The staff is incredibly attentive, always checking in with a smile and making sure you’re comfortable. Service is quick, yet never rushed, which makes dining here a relaxing experience.
The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish is full of authentic flavor, perfectly seasoned, and cooked with so much care. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. The portions are generous, the presentation is beautiful, and each plate feels like it was made just for you. Whether you’re trying their signature dishes or something new, you really can’t go wrong, everything is delicious.

Disappointing experience with Tio Nacho! We ordered our usual Friday dinner – 3 Shrimp Quesadillas and Guacamole & Chips. The food was clearly spoiled, with a foul smell. My husband and kids didn’t even finish theirs before throwing it away. The worst part was the unhelpful customer service. After reporting the issue, we were met with defensiveness and told that a manager would call back which didn’t happen. It’s unfortunate because we love Tio Nacho and order from them often. Hopefully, they’ll take steps to improve their quality control and customer service.

Today, my fiancé and I visited Tio Nacho, our favorite Mexican restaurant. It wasn’t our first time. It wasn’t so crowded today on the weekday; we sometimes eat there on weekends. The staff is always very polite and friendly. The location has a back patio for spring and summer where you can sit, with enough tables, or inside, whichever you prefer. The food is always fresh and delicious. I had 2 tacos, al pastor, and my fiance had an American quesadilla, and for appetizer, we had guacamole and chips. I always get this appetizer. i love the way tio nacho make guacamole. You won’t regret visiting Tio Nacho. I added more pictures from previous visits.

Despite my instinct to leave, we placed our order anyway. The food was fine, nothing memorable, but the lack of basic courtesy overshadowed everything. At the end of the day, customers are choosing to spend their money at your establishment. A simple greeting or a sense of appreciation goes a long way.
There are many good Mexican restaurants in Yonkers, but we chose to come here. Unfortunately, after this experience, we did not return. For me, kindness and basic respect matter just as much as the food, it take so little to be kind.

The food was AMAZING — seriously top quality. Every bite was packed with rich, perfectly balanced flavors, and you could really taste how fresh and carefully chosen the ingredients were. I ordered the beef tacos and he gave me a sample of the fresh sour cream and cilantro sauce.and fresh sorel juice…Omg…DELICIOUS..This is my new hidden place to go. Took my girlfriend here, the food was amazing! FRESH! Cooked in front of your face. Staff was very friendly. I got the Mexican Quesadilla which look like tacos but wayyyy better! And my girlfriend got the Quesa-Birria which was made with lamb! The Limeade was fresh and the horchata was the best I ever had! 10/10 will recommend! And they showed us the patio they have for the summer time! They said they do Karoake nights and private events! I will definitely come back!

disgusting food. words couldn’t fully describe my disappointment. I ordered on Uber Eats, it had amazing reviews and advertised themselves as authentic Mexican. Reviews must have been fake or something. I got a chicken burrito, it was barely any chicken, chicken was overcooked, it was extremely salty no flavor and dry. I also got a taco and it was listed on Uber Eats the picture had THREE and when it came I only got one taco?? And the taco wasn’t good either, it was so soggy, it was falling apart. Only good thing from here was my welchs grape soda. Never again, chipotle isn’t even real Mexican food and tastes much better. Don’t order from here if you don’t want to be disappointed.
