The reviews of this place definitely are not the same as my experience. My girlfriend and I went super hungry and optimistic about authentic tacos. When we arrived, the hostess/ waiter very bluntly asked if we will be taking out or eating in. When we said eating in and asked if we could sit outside he copped an attitude saying “well it might take me a minute to get outside” with 2 whole other parties inside. When ordering, I ordered my 3 chorizo tacos and chips and pico. My girlfriend ordered 2 ground beef tacos with only lettuce, cheese and tomato ( they can’t do tomatoes alone, only pica.). So just cheese and lettuce was fine. The ground beef tacos were topped with easily a whole cup of cheese, that was mostly taken off anyways. he also didn’t tell us the price of cheese on 2 tacos that was an additional $2.00 . When I got my chorizo tacos there was so much grease that one of tacos was broken when I picked it up and one of the others has meat far too big to be on a taco. The chips also were trash, full of grease all broken and unsalted. So attached are the photos of the food. Would I ever come back to this place? Probably not. Would I tell others to come to this place? Definitely not. Will steer clear thank you!

The food is delicious. Loved the tacos and their burrito, though you’ll definitely need to share that big burrito. The staff were really nice and the place was nice and enjoyable.

Got the enchiladas with shredded chicken and verde. The enchiladas were SO GOOD! They didn’t come with pico, so I got it on the side, and was glad I did because it was great. The rice was pretty bland, but the refried beans were nice. Would definitely recommend and get again.

Amazing. Get everything but the coffee – it’s Folgers. Went here for a work dinner and it was way better than founding farmers in KOP, which was the last place we had a work dinner. Then I took my wife on date and she loved it. If you like small unknown places with great food, eat here.

This small Mexican restaurant is a hidden secret. I stopped by and ordered tacos of the pastor, carnitas, and steak to try them all. Also ordered the chips and guacamole. They were all really good. Loved how juicy and tender the carnitas were; the meat fell apart in my mouth and was seasoned perfectly. I could have eaten just a bowl of the pulled pork. The pastor is cooked with pineapple and onions and how a little sweetness that blended in with the spicy kick. Honestly I like the steak the least. Still had good flavor, but tended to be more dry. The chips and guacamole were simple but good. I could have used a little more flavor, maybe a little more lime, but really pretty good. And the chips had good bite.
Overall, really happy to have found this place and will definitely be going back for more carnitas (pulled pork) tacos. By far my favorite.

Hey Tio. Never again. Bye. We love the habanero sauce. Last order we got 1 entree and a few tacos. We wanted 2 habanero sauces and were told only 1 per entree. Ordered 4 entrees this time and wanted 4 sauces as we were told last time that we could only get 1 per entree. They would only give us 2 and we’re just rude about it But guess they can change the rules. How does that make sense? We won’t be coming back.

On one hand – the poor waitress just didn’t listen to a darn thing we ordered (salsa and chips became guacamole and chips. Chicken enchiladas with green sauce came with red sauce. Split the check down the middle, only one card was charged).
On the other hand – EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING. As someone who grew up with authentic Mexican food and has been on the search for great Mexican food in the Philadelphia area (it’s limited), this was such a welcome treat!
The enchiladas were full of meet and delicious. The tostadas fantastically crunchy. Great authentic Mexican food, so I will be back!

Found this place via Google and dropped in. Started off with the nachos. The chips were thick and crunchy and held all of the toppings without issue. The meals were delicious. Everything was cooked to order and piping hot. Was enough for leftover lunch next day.
Staff were friendly and courteous. Accept cash and credit. Takeout was also in high demand. BYOB. Also plenty of booths for eat-in prices were average. Be warned there’s NO Parking!!! Four restaurants in a row and only 5 parking spots. Not sure where everyone parked.
Despite that we will be coming back again when Mexican food is the family craving.

This place is INSANE. Large male hostess with glasses was soooo so rude!! I just wanted to pay for something so I could use the restroom. I was totally fine with doing that. But he was so mean about it. I literally looked at him and said “Why are you being so mean to me?” No wonder they were empty at noon on a Sunday LOL
