We got a few things off the menu — fried mushrooms, the cowboy burger, the plumbers brother’s wrap, and boneless cauliflower wings. We spent about $50 for everything with no drinks.
Ultimately, the food was good. It was solid. It didn’t blow us away, but we had no complaints either. It’s a good option for anyone who’s nearby, although I wouldn’t drive out of the way to go like we did.
The Husband really enjoyed the fried mushrooms and I preferred the boneless cauliflower wings. They were better the next day after popping them in the air fryer (380 for 7 mins) and really hit the spot. The blue cheese from the restaurant tasted… wrong. I took one bite and decided not to eat it. But that was probably a fluke because The Husband had no issues with the ranch.
Overall, a solid choice for a meal. The service was normal — not overly friendly or special, but not bad either. The waitress was crazy busy and did a fantastic job covering every table. The place itself isn’t big, but it was comfortable enough. I’d recommend ordering ahead if you’re like us and just picking up a weeknight dinner.
The food is absolutely incredible. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and made with care. You can tell there’s pride behind every dish that comes out of the kitchen. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the quality easily competes with restaurants that charge twice as much.
What really sets Tino’s apart is consistency. Whether it’s your first visit or your tenth, the food and service are always on point. It’s the kind of place you end up recommending to friends and family because you know they’re going to love it.
If you’re in Gastonia and looking for a restaurant that delivers amazing food, great service, and a comfortable, local vibe, Tino’s is a must-try. Once you eat here, you’ll understand why people keep coming back.
The building sits by itself in a large parking area so there’s ample parking.
To start off with I have to say the staff is super nice and made you feel at home. If I lived in the area this would probably be a regular spot for me to come and grab a bite to eat at the end of the work week.
I ordered the cowboy burger which was messy but was fantastic. The fries were crispy which I love. If you haven’t been you need to check this place out!
I ordered the wings and fried mushrooms and it was solid. Those fried mushrooms were the best I have ever had and I am a foodie!! Nothing overly complicated, just well-seasoned and cooked the way it should be. Portion size was generous without feeling like they were trying too hard. Prices were great, especially considering the quality.
If you’re looking for something laid-back where you can get a good meal without feeling rushed or out of place, this spot does the job.
Food was good but the portion size is unreal for the price.
