The server was so nice. The food is good for the price, but there’s better bbq. The pork steaks are very thick, and mine had a lot of gristle. Baked beans and green beans were kind of plain and underseasoned, fries were good — seasoned crinkle cuts. If I go again, I’d try something other than the pork steak. My mom’s ribs were very tender, but she said a little greasy. I also kind of wish there was a better vegetable option to go alongside meat choices, like a side salad.

That plate is a bargain price! The beans were so simple, but so amazing. Sadly, the porksteak was served barely warm, thereby tough. It was much better the next day when I warmed up the leftover meat at home. I will be back. I was told their Wednesday smoked chicken is the world’s best.

We had Tinkers for the first time today. My husband had the Pork steak & I had the Tinker Tater.
The pork steak was huge and was very tender. The loaded Tinker Tater was also huge, and was piled high with very generous amount of tender pulled pork. The temp of our meals were good & hot.
The prices were very reasonable & we had lots to take in a to go box for later.
The staff was super nice & we were asked plenty if everything was OK & did we needed anything else.
Everything tasted awesome. We will be returning.

This was our first time! Server was great, my fiancés drink wasn’t even 1/2 way down and she got her more! Food was great! We got the nachos, jumbo wings and a side of fries and it was enough for both of us. We had enough to take home still!

If you are anywhere near Desloge, this is a must stop. The service is exceptional and the food is SO delicious. Make it on a Monday and enjoy the most amazing pork candy (aka pork belly burnt ends) and Tuesday for the awesome pork steak on special. Very reasonably priced. Don’t sleep on Tinker’s, y’all.

The food took a bit, but the pork steak was nice and tender. The wings were a hit, prices were fairly low and portions were good sized. They were pretty busy. All in all not a bad experience, thank you for dinner!!

Awesome BBQ. Perfect smoke on the meat, not over powering at all, very nice and tender. Split the wings and 32oz pork steak between 2 of us, could have easily fed 4.

What a delicious lunch! From server Hannah’s warm smile to the hot pork steak and the ribs, we had an excellent meal. Pork steak isn’t served in the Chicago area and I was surprised by how moist and meaty it was.
