Great Northwoods bar! Bar is under new owners which are phenomenal- so much better than the previous owner. Just opened and would highly recommend stopping whether on sleds or wheels. Great atmosphere. Great prices and really just a classic homey Northwoods bar. Ask for the homemade apple pie – it’s out of this world.

First time customers- good atmosphere, music is not so loud that you couldn’t have a talk over dinner. The food was good. Had the ribeye and baked potato and my husband had the Alfredo pasta with Cajun chicken. My husbands only complaint was his pasta could be warmer. Tried their homemade cheese curds. They were good and not sopping wet with grease and not overly battered. Waitresses were attentive and kept the drinks refilled but they were working their butt off. Went to the bathroom and initially I found it to be decent and clean. I had a little trouble getting the door lock to line up to lock. I found the bathroom floor to be sticky but no debris, but a clean toilet and clean solid seat. Can’t wait to return to try out some other dishes.

I came in to eat dinner with my three sons. The bartender was super nice and told us we could sit at a table. When we went to sit down this nasty waitress freaked out and told us we couldn’t sit there because someone else was already going to be sitting there. The way she reacted was super awkward and unnecessary. I would loved to have tried the food but we left immediately after being treated that way.

I usually rave about Lizzy T’s food..but this time yuck! I went for dinner with my 3 girlfriends and told them how great the food was as they had never ate there before. We were all disappointed. My shrimp Alfredo was “broken” as the sauce obviously had come to a boil and cooked to long and the shrimp was tough. Two of my friends had the fish fry…both of the fish dishes were fine but the French fries were burnt. My other friend had a steak which was ok but too fatty for her liking. Drinks were great but the food disappointing for the price.

Cute little place, close to our “up north” home. Servers were very nice, and we had amazing cheese curds as an appetizer. Fish fry cod and walleye were delicious. Would definitely return.
