This is a hidden gem. Nothing fancy on first glance but pleasant and welcoming inside. What stand out are the food and the friendly service. The flavors and presentation were exceptional and there was extra effort made to ensure we were enjoying everything. The cost of our meals were totally reasonable. The traditional coffee costs a bit but it’s fun and the flavor and experience make it worth trying at least once. Lots of other delicious looking items that will add to our interest in coming back again.

Incredible food! When I saw a 5.0 rating, I was reluctant but optimistic. It is well deserving of the rating. I ordered the Tibs (spicy – medium) and Veggie Combo. Both were outstanding and came with plenty of injera.

The vegetarian platter is delicious. A small dining with plenty of seating. The service was great and the food came out quickly. There is parking in both sides of the building. Highly recommend for vegetarian.

I love the place, the food, the ceremony and the service is also excellent. I really love it. The place especially has so pretty. I mean the lake is more close and in front of the coffee house and it’s pretty cool! I recommend for people who want to join and have a time with their best friends. It’s a quiet kind of vibe.

We had breakfast here for the first time today and everything was great. The woman and the front counter was friendly then also brought us our food and waited on anything we needed. The food was full of flavor and fresh. I would recommend this place to anyone who wishes to try Ethiopian food in the Seattle/surrounding area. There was plenty of parking as well.

I have been a fan of Winnie’s since opening day! She is an incredibly kind woman who makes wonderful coffee and pastries. Every time I go in I feel welcomed. The coffee is the best espresso I’ve had local to Renton. The space is warm and cozy with plenty of tables to sit and work remote. If you live near by, I highly recommend making Winnies your new daily coffee spot!
