Really great breakfast and excellent service. Their eggs benedict with hollandaise sauce is incredible, making a vegetarian taste just as delicious. The green salsa is excellent, especially poured over the baked potatoes and with corn tortillas on the side. Their tacos are really delicious as well and the desserts are incredibly delicious although a bit pricey per slice. We now make it a point to hit up this place, when we drive into Ruidoso.

This is definitely a HIDDEN GEM. Great morning ambiance, love the pie display didnt try it but the green Chile apple pie looks interesting. The Migas are MUST have, I’ll definitely be back tontry the rest of the menu. They know what they’re doing in the kitchen. Flavors are on point.

Made the drive over this evening only to find Tina’s was closed early (hours show 8 PM); it’s 5:15. A note on the door said “see you for breakfast”. Well, not me. This cafe has disappointment again. Why not post an update on Google? Why not maintain posted hours?
There are other places to eat.
Oh, and a standard daily 10% veterans discount (though appreciated) is not doing something special for veterans on Veterans Day(see review below). And the only thing shameful is your trying to shame a veteran for leaving an honest review. I’m a fourth generation veteran, and, like many veterans, we love to be a patron of places where the owner respects and honors the country’s vets. Best of luck.

This place does not offer anything special for veterans on Veterans Day. Disappointing. Places should recognize veterans for their contributions toward maintaining this country‘s way-of-life, freedoms, and opportunity for capitalistic endeavors.

We have been in Ruidoso for two years and are so upset with ourselves for not eating here sooner!!! We were seated in the bar area and loved the windows. One person in our group had breakfast while the rest of us had lunch. He had a steak omelette which looked amazing with fresh vegetables and steak. He said it was loaded with steak. My husband swears he had the best burger he has ever eaten. I had to sample a French fry…crispy on the outside and soft potato on the inside…so good! I ordered a taco salad with the green chili pork. All of it was excellent! THEN we had dessert. Key lime pie for my husband and I was intrigued by the green chili apple pie…oh wow!!! Needless to say, we will be back!! Thank you for one of the best meals we’ve eaten in Ruidoso!

We loved Tinas Cafe. I practically only go back for the green chicken tamale, but it keeps getting smaller. The size is ridiculously small for the price and for being a main course. Today’s experience was not pleasant at all. The waitresses were very rude and grumpy for such an early hour and the restaurant was empty. We had barely walked to our table when they were already asking us to order drinks, and when they took our food order, they were very impatient and rude. What a shame; it makes you not want to come back.

Great place for breakfast! We requested the patio because the temperature around 11 AM was around 78 or 79 F (August). Beautiful, chill, shaded patio with vegetation and vines swayed to and fro by a cool breeze. Perfect place for New Mexico green Chile chicken enchiladas. The chicken was tender and the Chile was spicy but not hot. We also ordered one of Tina’s breakfast bowls which consisted of red Chile, chorizo and two eggs over easy, and the huevos rancheros platter. The kids’ Mini New Mexico platter was the perfect size for our growing 8 year old. Beware the pancakes are big and fully! We had some beers and enjoyed the breeze with a full belly. Loved it here

Tina’s Cafe is a staple for a reason. It’s one of my favorite spots to sit down with clients in the morning before a full day of showings — relaxed, welcoming, and a great introduction to this part of town.
The stuffed sopapillas are excellent, portions are just right, and the service always makes you feel at home. It’s the kind of place where conversations flow easily and you get a real sense of the local community and rhythm of Ruidoso.
If you’re looking for an authentic breakfast spot to start your day — whether you’re visiting, house hunting, or just enjoying the morning — Tina’s Cafe never disappoints.

I came in for the candy pig cinnamon roll but was bowled over by the steak tacos and the super friendly service. The host, server and even the cook were very sweet and clearly wanted to ensure I enjoyed my meal and had everything I needed. Definitely worth a stop!
