Tina in the Gables is a very quaint restaurant located in a small shopping center in Coral Gables. The parking for the center is very limited, but there is paid street parking within walking distance to the restaurant. We went for breakfast on a Sunday and arrived at 8:45 am. They had already sat their first round of guests so we had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. The restaurant has great reviews and we were willing to wait to have the experience. It is surprisingly small, but they seem to have it very well organized. Once you are seated, your order is taken quickly, and the food is also prepared and brought to the table quite quickly as well. We ordered the PB&J sliders, Tina’s French Toast and the Sunnyside Scrambler. Everything was delicious. Even their coffee was delicious. I do recommend Tina’s though I would say since they do not take reservations, bring your patience and prepared to wait during peak hours.

This place is spectacular. The food is absolutely top tier; I’ve tried almost the entire menu and there wasn’t a single dish I wouldn’t recommend. Everything is delicious this is real food at its finest.
You honestly can’t go wrong, but don’t miss out on the fan favorites like the French Toast and the Picaña, which everyone raves about for a reason. I also highly recommend the Duck Bacon, the Steak and Eggs, and their Grilled Sandwich each one was executed perfectly. To top it off, the service is incredibly attentive and the coffee is excellent.
Quick tip: They don’t take reservations, so a wait is normal, but it is 100% worth it. If you can make it during the week, it’s much easier to get a table quickly!

First time visiting the place after many recommendations, and I have to say it’s worth the hype, the food is really good and perfect serving size. The steak and eggs was fantastic the cooked to perfection, definitely recommended. But the french toast was the highlight of restaurant, and if you had to choose between the french toast and other dish, just go with the french toast, it’s to die for. The lemonade was good but it was too sweet for my taste.
Definitely worth a try.

My family and I just had a wonderful brunch at Tina in the Gables. It was great to see such variety on the menu, and every plate that came out was beautifully executed.
The surprising standout was the Chicken Parm, which featured a truly delicious, memorable sauce that took a classic comfort food to a new level. On the seafood side, the Salmon Benedict was perfectly plated and delicious, and the Soft Shell Crab Sandwich tasted incredibly fresh. To finish, we all shared the Tina’s French Toast—the perfect amount of sweetness to end the meal. Plus, the coffees were top-notch and a great start to the day.
I cannot finish this without mentioning the great friendly service we got, making our Sunday unforgettable.

I’d happily wait the hour again, this spot is worth the hype. We went on a busy Sunday, and while the space is small and the wait is long, the food makes it all worth it. The French toast was heavenly (the orange zest really shines), the steak and eggs were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the tater tots were extra crunchy and delicious. Even the chai coffee stood out. Our server was fantastic friendly, attentive, and made the wait feel easier. Definitely a gem in the Gables and a place I’ll be back to.

We loved it at Tina’s the other day! We had great service and great food! What more can you ask for, right? Tina’s is a cute and cozy all-day brunch and breakfast restaurant where people seem to be in a good mood. Even though it is medium size, there is plenty of room inside plus counter space at the large window for those parents with babies in their strollers. Everything is thought out well here. The ambiance is casual, energetic, college-age to 30s mostly. It gets loud but you can still hear your friends. We got there by 10am on a Friday and only waited for about 30 minutes in line. I hear that it is very busy on the weekends so best to get there when they open at 8:30am. But it is worth it for the high quality food!
Our servers were Matteo and Moises, who have great personalities, are hard workers and were very attentive to our needs. They were familiar with the menu and kept our glasses filled with water. As busy ad they were, they also took care of the customers just as smoothly with pleasant smiles. I was very impressed.
Our breakfasts were delicious! I ordered Steak n Eggs with avocado. Steak was perfectly done. I shared the steak and the Scrambled Eggs & Parmesan with my daughter. Boy, was that good! We also shared the Maple-candied Bacon, which was a thick bacon slice with maple syrup glaze. The portions are generous there. Yummy! We each had a Gables Cafe with creme which was perfect. For dessert, we shared the French Toast that was generously laced in maple syrup. Wow! So good. What a great brunch!! We also ordered food for home (Tuna Melt sandwich and a Chicken Parmesan for dinner, both were good also). I highly recommend Tina in the Gables for your new brunch place. You won’t be disappointed.

I was visiting florida and told my cousin that I had seen a place in the gables that made the best french toast. We were skeptical at first, but we went and tried. Was the french toast the best? Absolutely, but so was the rest of the food. It’s a tiny place, not a lot of seats,But it was packed! totally recommend you get there early. Definitely try the eggs benedict and the bacon everything was superb.
