Went there on Saturday morning. We were seated right away. We liked that the coffee and tea were self served. We ordered Everything Nice, Everything Naughty, and Raspberry Jammies, and loved what we got!! Also loved the casual atmosphere. Would definitely come back!! Bonus point: it’s dogs friendly!

Did a breakfast date with my wife after she picked me up at the airport. I did plan ahead and got an 8:45a reservation online and we made it with 2mins to spare. It was not too busy yet as tables were empty but when we finished up around 9:30-9:45a there was a line out the door. Service was good and the food was a well. I had breakfast at 4:30a already before my flight so I had the raspberry jammers and my wife had the Stay scramble. We were sat in the patio area that was nicely shaded. Plenty of people who had dogs with them which are allowed in the patio areas. So, word to the wise, get a reservation if you want to go.

I don’t often give 5 stars, but this place needs 6! Fun, trendy cafe has an amazing menu! I had the braised beef benedict with cheesy grits, the wife had veggie benedict with potato cake. So yummy and filling. The staff was great. Original art work all around.

We were really excited to come here for brunch. There was a 30 min wait until we were to be seated. We were offered complimentary coffee or tea while we waited which was initially nice however they charge you at the end for it. Highly misleading. Moreover, after being sat down and ordering, food took about 50 minutes to come out. To put it in perspective we arrived at 9:30am, sat around 10, and then got our food around 11am. The staff overall was good, but our waitress was on the other side and it took a while to even get our check at the end.

A very popular eatery on the east side. Accept a bar seat if you don’t want to wait. Pets are welcomed at this friendly eatery. The food is pretty good, too. Next time, I’d skip the grits and have more potato cakes. I’m not a fan of their Marigold coffee either. The biscuit was absolutely delicious!!! The server / barista was very friendly and attentive.

Tin Shed is one of the staples of Alberta and the Portland brunch scene. I smell the biscuits when I walk out my front door so it’s hard not to eat here even more than I already do. The staff and service are amazing. No bad choice on the menu, truly.

I alway enjoy this quaint Alberta neighborhood restaurant for a tasty breakfast but my last visit was especially enjoyable! I was so glad I could get reservations for a party of 5. We were seated really close to our reservation time. We enjoyed the coffee while we were waiting. Everyone liked their breakfast’s entree. I though my Sit Pretty was unique and really good! I loved the fresh green garbanzo and all of the other ingredients. I chose the biscuit and it was flaky and perfect with my scramble! I loved that they brought a birthday pastry with a candle for my friend. It was delicious and a great starter for our celebration. The service was wonderful! I also love that dogs are welcome on the patio!

I’ve been wanting to go to the Tin Shed for awhile. Because of its popularity, expect long wait times or better yet, make an online reservation. Trust me it’s better to plan ahead. One of the big appeals is that they allow dogs in their outdoor (covered) patio. My friend and I brought our pooches along. They offer two items on their dog menu, Fido Food which is chicken and sweet potatoes and Doggie Desert, banana, peanut butter and yogurt. Our pups split servings of each. I opted for the Faro Sanders, which I believe was the only dish marked clearly as vegan. It’s a bowl with farro, roasted cauliflower, delicata squash, roasted garlic, and green garbanzo beans, topped with an avocado chimichurri, and sliced red cabbage. It was fresh, tasty, and filling. I would say that if your vegan you might be better off going to the Radio Room just west of Tin Shed, but I’m glad I finally got a chance to see what all the fuss was about.

After a 30 min wait for bar seats, reading rave reviews and being quite hungry this place just didn’t live up to the hype for me. I can’t even remember what I ordered. I do remember thinking it could’ve used a bit more flavor, paprika or other spices.
