Overall great experience! We came for lunch on a weekday and sat on the patio to enjoy the weather. Our server was very helpful, kind, and attentive. The food was very good! Street parking and dairy free options available

Came into town and it looked busy so we thought we’d give it a try. We had 2 flights of beer and eventually a pint each of our faves. I got the Philly and she had the BBQ Ranch burger. Both sanwiches were awesome! Also had an order of mac-n-cheese which was also great. She had sweet potato fries and I had regular fries. Both fries were a little soggy and only warm like they were either microwaved or kept in a warmer. Beer was really good and the servers did a great job. A little loud since it’s in an older building but not a huge deal. Could use a little more help, saw a few people really running around. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. We would definitely go back!

Very nice place to eat. The portions are big and the prices are more than reasonable. There was a little bit of a wait to get seated. Some of that had to do with the volume of people trying to be seated but I couldn’t help notice that it took a long time to bus a table and get it ready for the next set of customers. The food was prepared fresh and came out in a timely manner. I think the food could have been seasoned a little more but that is easily fixed. We will be coming back again as there are several items on the me u that look good.

TIN PIG – Perry, IA – THIS PLACE WAS GREAT! We’ve never been, driven past a few times and it always looked closed, but we were thrilled to find out it is open and delicious! They were great with my service dog, too (although we stayed so long he got a lil tooooo comfortable!).
Pretzel Bites: w/ queso: average. Would’ve preferred other dipping sauces but no biggy. It was still good.
Crab Rangoon flatbread: was AWESOME! All the right flavors combined, we ordered this one as a shareable appetizer, and everyone enjoyed it (even the one that assumed he wouldn’t).
Buffalo chicken wrap: not chintzy at all, this was loaded and delish. More than half the meal came home. Buffalo had a touch of heat and this wrap wasn’t soggy, as so many end up becoming.
Tenderloin: good gravy this is a large tenderloin! About a minute or two overcooked though, but surprisingly still good! Definitely would have been amazing taken out just a bit sooner. Also came home with half of this beast!
Smoked BBQ turkey sandwich w/ house salad: he says it was fantastic, and very juicy. House salad great.
Cowboy Cobb salad: too many onions (I like onions but it was overwhelming). I should’ve scraped some off but didn’t. Toppings were great and loved the ranch dressing! Brought most of it home. May add some lettuce so it’s not so “oniony”
Excellent service! We loved the atmosphere, service, vibe, and can’t wait to make our way thru this menu!! — at Tin Pig Tavern.

Excellent experience in this place! We ordered the flat breads and both options were amazing. Food arrived 5 minutes after we ordered and the service was amazing. People there are so nice and welcoming. For sure a good place to stop by if you are in Perry

Our first visit to the Tin Pig won’t be our last. We were more thirsty than hungry, but the menu had some surprising options. Our waitress was patient and helpful as we asked about the various dishes, and the flatbread pizza was excellent. The locally brewed beer was also surprisingly excellent. We had a shandy and a beer called Dingaling, and couldn’t decide which was best. Both were delicious. We’ll be back.

The atmosphere, ambience, and service was outstanding! The food was excellent with the exception of the brisket sandwich which needed a lil more seasoning in my opinion but the crab rangoon pizza was the star, even better than fongs. We also thoroughly enjoyed the chicken fried chicken.

Stopped in for lunch after completing 52 miles of biking on the Raccoon River Valley Trail. I still had 20 more miles of biking ahead of me to finish the day. We opted to sit in the outdoor patio area, which was well maintained and offered plenty of shade.
This was my first time here so I briefly went inside to check out the interior. It appears to be well decorated and has a nice atmosphere.
The service and food were good. No complaints from me or others in my party. I normally would order comfort food, but opted for a chef salad with fried chicken strips instead. The salad portion was good and had plenty of other toppings as well.
I appreciated the ability to pay and tip my server via scanning a QR code on the receipt. Payment process was easy and quick.
I would certainly be willing to stop here again sometime if I’m in the area.

The Tin Pig staff treated us like we were family and the food is second to none! It looks like Perry has great a restaurant that caters to visitors as well as the locals. On this night I had the smoked prime rib! There is nothing that compares to this cut of beef and their method of preparing and presenting old school smoked ribeye! If they can just get the roof to stop blowing off the place (literally) TP is the destination spot for anyone that loves great food and service!
