Taco-Fueled, Tequila-Infused, ATL-Born Back in 2005, three friends had one mission: bring tacos, tequila, and good times to the neighborhood—and do it their way. Tin Lizzy’s was built on bold flavors, cold drinks, and the kind of hospitality that turns strangers into regulars. What started in Atlanta has grown into a go-to spot for anyone who believes queso counts as a food group and margaritas taste better with a side of music and mischief. We’re not exactly traditional—but that’s kind of the point. You’ll find Tin Lizzy’s in the metro Atlanta area, with locations in Downtown, Midtown, and Kennesaw. They got a bit busy cause of a convention, but it was quick to get a table because it’s not too close. I had a great experience after I got a table with John who was very kind. Mike the manager was hospitable, the food and vibe was great. I did initially sit at the bar for 15 minutes without being greeted, so I switched to a table and then all was well. Bartender was likely inundated with lots of drinks from the business people all break so I get it!

We had good tacos at Tin Lizzy’s. My favorite was The Royale Cheese. Chicken Con Queso was good. I would skip the Lobster taco next time which was a little disappointing. We really liked the Habanero Margarita but it could be of used a little more to tequila. Our server was fantastic as well was in the host that sat us. Would go back and try more tacos!

The food is always good at TLC. The fried jalapeno chips and fried pickles are awesome.
Their tacos are some of the best around. Vegetarian friendly too. It got busy towards the end of our dining experience. It took over 45 minutes to get our checks. The server was busy with other tables yet should have stopped by sooner than way later.

Tacos are not bad, liked the Philly cheese one the best, the classic one with chicken was so so. Tacos here are not that big so you can try out more flavors. Churros were pretty good, if there is more cinnamon sugar it will be even better. Service wise staff members are friendly and helpful. Atmosphere wise is kind of like a sports bar.

The Queso Chicken taco was yummy, and the nachos were great too—though I’d suggest adding a bit more queso on top. The place was clean and modern. Definitely recommend!
