Kinda disappointed in this place. Seeing the 4.8 rating, my husband and I expected a lot more. The prices are high and the sandwich unfortunately did not live up to it. We split a BLT. The portion size was pretty good , the bacon was crispy and the sandwich tasted fine. However, the menu said it came with mixed greens, arugula, and heirloom tomatoes with a bacon aioli… What we got was iceberg lettuce, an abundance of unripened Roma tomatoes, and an aioli you could barely taste. For almost $20 we were definitely disappointed. Can’t say we’d come back.

GADS I LOVE THIS PLACE !! This is the 2nd time in a month we’ve come here. My husband got the burger again (who can resist a half-lb burger?). My daughter had the grilled cheese w/tomato soup sauce, golfish crackers & Cheetos & loved it. I went for the BLT w/bacon crusted in Tang. It was on the sweet side but I liked it.
FYI I’m a lifetime foodie & I went to cooking school, so I’m no pushover. I’m pretty sure Timmy could make a “Cardboard sandwich” and it’d be great.
Try one of his sandwiches. You’ll be very glad you did. FYI Timmy can make ‘Normal’ versions of sandwiches too (but why would you want that? LOL).

We stopped by for a quick lunch on our way to Tahoe. The order took 10-15 mins to arrive and it was phenomenal. We got the chicken satay sandwich and banh mi sandwich and enjoyed both. Both sandwiches were packed with vegetables and yummy sauces and great flavor. The portions are great as well. Highly recommend trying.

I got the chicken satay sandwich and it was so delicious! So many unique sandwiches on the menu it was hard to choose. Can’t wait to try another!

Nestled in a cozy corner of the delightful town of Placerville, I stumbled upon the most charming food shack called Timmy’s Brown Bag. The young fellow manning the counter was incredibly polite and helpful. Let me tell you, they have an incredible variety of food options, and every single one sounded absolutely amazing!
Now, I must admit, I asked if they had any gluten-free options, but unfortunately, they didn’t have any bread. However, the cook kindly suggested that they could lettuce wrap it for me instead. How awesome is that? I then inquired about their tacos, and to my absolute delight, they were made with corn tortillas! Can you believe it?
I didn’t have to wait long before my buzzer went off, and another friendly staff member came out to deliver my brown bag. Talk about clever advertising with a name like Timmy’s Brown Bag! And let me tell you, the moment I took a bite of that taco, I was in food heaven. The chicken was incredibly moist, and the flavors were out of this world. Plus, the price was absolutely fantastic, especially in this economy!
If you happen to find yourself in the Placerville area, I highly recommend giving this walk-up brown bag lunch shack a try. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

What a terrific fine this sandwich spot was. The offerings are so unusual from a typical deli and we really liked the choices. I had the falafel which was incredible and my son-in-law had the Bahn-mi. The guys at the deli were super sweet and accommodating. The prices are high. I will say that, however the portions are huge. I only ate half of my falafel and took the other half home, but it did not farewell as it became so soggy, there are some bistro tables in the patio where one can sit, which offered shade. Very grateful that there are a couple kids items on the menu is spending $20 on a sandwich that they wouldn’t finish would be wasteful. My granddaughter was obsessed with the grilled cheese.

I’m so impressed with this place. First off, the food is delicious! The sandwich and burger portions are massive. The menu is Asian fusion American style eclectic. It’s a to-go order place, and you grab any outdoor seatings available.
One negative comment is the long wait time. If you’re in no rush, enjoying a lovely weekend in Placerville, wait a bit. You won’t regret it. I’d come back again.
We got the mac and cheese pork on waffle, chasu bbq pork sandwich, and the burgers (love how the cheese is on the grill to make it crunchy!).

One of the best banh mi sandwiches I’ve ever had. Definitely not traditional in any sense, but this one was fresh and flavorful. The seating area is outside of the shop!

I’m pushing 40, so I’ve had a few sandwiches in my life….at least 5 so I know what I’m talking about. And I gotta say this place has…. some of the best I’ve ever had. Seriously great flavors. Its a few days after thanksgiving and me and my wife picked some sandwiches up – She’s Canadian. We got a waffle/pulled pork/mac and cheese sandwich and she repeatedly said “this should be illegal” and “god bless America” multiple times while eating the sandwich. 10/10 stars we go to Timmy’s every time we go to Tahoe now (if they’re open).

We had the Pot Sticker Burger and the Walnut Prawn Sandwich in a cute little courtyard next to a great gift shop and beautiful art gallery. We will be back to try more! Very creative menu : )
